UE BOOM 2 After Hours Wireless Bluetooth Speaker (Waterproof and Shockproof)

Truly, truly terrible. Intolerable, in fact. The bluetooth connectivity was so poor that the music would skip incessantly. And periodically, the entire Boom 2 would turn off. I bought two of them - the thought was to use them as a stereo pair (an option with the horrid "Boom" app). The first test was at the pool during my buddy's bachelor party. Utter failure. The app is terrible. The speakers, despite being a mere 4 feet apart, could barely communicate with each other. If you move the speakers more than a few feet apart, they lose each other. When it worked, it sounded great... but it would work for less than 5 minutes. After 5 minutes or so, one of the speakers would disconnect and/or turn off. You'd have to power cycle it to get the app to see it again. Maybe. Sometimes you have to turn them both off, and power cycle both units. On more than one occasion, I had to reboot my phone. Oh, and please keep in mind that the music is skipping the entire time - regardless of whether you have one or both units going.I considered throwing them against the wall instead of returning them, for two reasons: 1) the constant skipping and disconnection issues brought me to a state of violent, uncontrollable rage, and 2) I fear that the seller might try to re-sell them, and some poor soul may get stuck with these wretched devices. Ultimately, we decided it was better to sit in silence than to slowly lose our sanity using these pieces of trash. Do not buy. You have been warned.

I went through a megaboom and a megablast and then got this. The sound isnt that much different between the three. The reason I ended up with this one is because both the megaboom and megablast broke on me within the first 2 weeks of having them (megaboom stopped charging and megablast randomly skipped during songs). I've had this one for a month and it's still going strong. Its light, it lasts quite a long (I've had it played at a medium volume for 6-8 hours, it was still playing but I was leaving work so I had to turn it off)This model, though older, seems superior than the newer versions, lasts longer, and works nicely.

Freaken AWESOME speaker. Finally buckled and got me my own UE Boom2! I want to get more. My brother and a couple friends have their own and when we get together the sound quality is pure awesomeness. Looking to purchase more in the near future.02/02/2019- Update: Speaker is STILL bumpin' and performing like the day it was brand new out the box. Freaken in love with my UE BOOM 2 that I can't wait to order me 2 more to add to my collection. I use daily at work where I am a Lumber Yard Supervisor to taking it to the beach and or pool. Used it for my neices birthday a couple months back for her pool party and had it in the water for a tad over an hour and it is AWESOME! Yup, in a simple and great word... AWESOMENESS!!!

I've had multiple UE Booms. I lost the first one when I moved and I tried a refurbished one from Amazon and it wouldn't hold a charge to save its life. So I was shocked when I found this one for just over $100 and knew that I had to jump in and try it. It's been amazing. I work in a pizza kitchen (where I use it 90% of the time), so naturally it's loud in there. Even at half volume you can hear the music or podcasts over the multiple ovens. It's also waterproof... and flour proof because let's be real that's a bigger issue for me lol. I can generally get through almost two full shifts without having to charge it and charging it only takes a couple of hours. In comparison to the original UE Boom I had, the battery life is longer and the sound quality much better.

The speaker operates OK, but the Ultimate Ears Boom/Megaboom app is HORRIBLE!! I first downloaded it and connected the speaker to my iPhone and it worked great... for about a month, then the app would not recognize when the speaker connected to the phone. The speaker worked, but there was no control of the speaker possible through the app. I then re loaded the app, and now I cannot get beyond the connection page of the app. It will not allow me to access any of the features that are supposed to be in the app to control the speaker.BEFORE YOU PURCHASE THIS SPEAKER, GO TO THE APP STORE/ANDROID APP STORE AND LOOK AT THE REVIEWS FOR THE UE BOOM APP!! EVERYONE IS SAYING THE SAME THING NOW...Unless they fix this app quick, I'd suggest you do NOT buy this speaker. Pick another brand!!!

J’avais Des attentes très élevées d’après les critiques et commentaires sur ce produit. Durabilité , solidité , longévité de la pile est excellente. Je suis un peu déçu des basses mais pour la taille c’est excellent. Le son est très bon à volume moyen plus on monte plus les basses disparaissent. Le logiciel fait très bien son travail.

Absolutely love this speaker - sure it isn't super "bassy" and it also doesn't sound like crap its actually a really good balance in between. Its no a 500 bose speaker but its does just fine!I use it all the time and have no complaints at all.

I bought 2 of these as gifts for relatives after they commented on my year-old Boom devise. They haven't stopped raving. They're life is changed. This company is moving in the right direction but I fear software updates going forward are losing features for the older devises left behind.

Overall, I am really enjoying this speaker. Friends and have family had been acquiring them so I figure why not? It has not disappointed. Great sound, bass, battery life and will likely purchase another so they can operate together. I would highly recommend this wireless speaker.

Bon son mais sourd quand on compare a une JBL flip 4 par exemple, les comparatifs les disaient équivalents mais j'ai vite fait mon choix pour la jbl personnellement le son est plus clair
