These grip strips are the perfect answer to a simple, yet not addressed problem. I recently was injured during a back surgery leaving me with incomplete paraplegia. That means I am partially paralyzed from the waist down. As a result I now need all kinds of aids to dress. One of them is a "sock sleeve" that I put a sock on, then put my foot in it and pull the cords to put the sock on my foot. As a disabled veteran, I get all of my healthcare from the VA. Unfortunately, nobody has figured out how to replace the sock grip, a small pad that provides enough friction to get the whole sock on and over my heels. The VA would rather throw it out when the pad tears and give me a new one. AMAZON to the rescue. I bought these pads, cut them to size. Added a touch of superglue to make them extra tough. The result, PERFECT! MacGyver would be proud! They cost next to nothing. I have enough to last years. The material is just right, with exactly the friction I need. They are strong, easy to cut to size, and a perfect answer to a simple problem! I didn't even think of them as a pad for small appliances or computers. Now I am going to look for additional ways and places to use them. Buy these, you won't regret it!

I have found several uses for these non-slip pads, from stabilizing my cutting board to providing a non-slip grip for my computer keyboard, to serving as bumpers for my kitchen cabinets. I like the adjustability of the 1" width of the strips making them perfect for cutting to any size you want. They're thick, soft, and flexible with a strong adhesive backing that works well on flat or curved surfaces. I find these to be a great value for the money. I will repurchase again and highly recommend.

One of the feet on my notebook fell off. It was wobbly and sliding all over my desk. I could not find any OEM parts, so I took a look at these wondering if they would make a good replacement. The answer is no. They are not a good repladement they are a great replacement. They are thick enough that they lift the laptop high enough so it does not rest on the one remaining foot. They are also so slip proof that trying to move my laptop on a small table moves the table and the laptop stays put! Absolutely perfect for what I wanted to do.

This was my second purchase of these X-Protector Rubber Strips, and thus far, I found three uses for them.1) I initially bought them to put behind the "feet" of my under-the-desk elliptical machine (I have wood floors, and it slid a little while in motion). The strips worked really well for the purpose intended, and the adhesion was good.2) I am a technical consultant who is hard of hearing and need to wear an over-the-ear headset for client calls. I noticed that tiny pieces of the black spongy material covering the memory foam portion of the expandable "headband" on the headset were flaking off (it gets a lot of wear and tear because I use it so often). Instead of buying a new headset, which still works well, I used an X-Protector rubber strip on the underside of the black spongy fabric. It is the exact same width, which was a coincidence, and the length was perfect, too, and does not interfere with the metal sliding portion that expands or retracts. Now, none of the flaking is evident, and the rubber strip provides a little extra cushion over my head.3) A few months before purchasing the X-Protector Rubber Strips, I purchased a nice black metal headset stand that has a curved wooden top. I bought it because sometimes I carried my headset in my purse or in a small canvas bag while traveling, and all of that shuffling around undoubtedly led to the flaking. Unfortunately, after a few months, the curved wooden top of the stand, which appears to have been painted brown, started discoloring. I put an X-Protector Rubber Strip in the center, and it also was the perfect length and width.Based on just these three uses of this product, it seems there might be many more, not to mention, the quality is excellent. I highly recommend it this product.

Needed this to secure my laptop. Have brackets attached to the underside of my desk for my laptop to slide into but they are slippery. This has a little bit of cushion and non slip material. Perfect to protect and secure my laptop. Also used to keep a small speaker from sliding around. Would recommend.

After slapping a few of these on the back of my keyboard, the table will flip over before my keyboard slides off and keys go flying everywhere.

Absolutely terrible. This is thin EVA foam--not durable rubber at all. And the adhesive is weak. You might as well just get some EVA foam strips (often called "foamies") and use elmers glue to glue them on rather than getting this product. Not worth the money. Soft, not durable.X-protector? More like ex-protector. It may have sold protective products at one point, but not anymore! Do not buy.

Great product as advertised

These also came in a thicker version, but I opted for the thinner ones as I didn't want our sectional to look more elevated. The pads might be squished by the weight, but they're definitely gripping the floor and keeping my sectional in place. No more sliding and floor scratches! I later bought more for other furniture.

Also wenn man will das gar nichts mehr rutscht, dann kann man die Dinger gut gebrauchen. Bestehen aus eine Art Schaumgummi der aber sehr formstabil ist (nicht bröselig oder zerbrechlich). Nutze die Dinger für meine zwei kleinen Couch-Tisch damit sie nicht gleich weg schlittern wenn man sie versehentlich anrempelt. Die Stoppwirkung mit den Antirutsch-Pada ist brachial. Der Couch-Tisch kippt eher als das er verrutscht. In der Hinsicht also Top.
