The colouring book has a hard cover which is good as it makes it easy to colour on your lap while using - don't have to sit at a table or anything. The designs are mostly patterns rather than pictures of the princesses but I quite like that. Would not recommend for children though as the details are quite intricate for the majority of the book.

Great on the inside, a mess on the outside.
It is fair to say you cannot ignore the ongoing 'Adult colouring in' craze at the moment, it intrigues me greatly, I, like many others, I'm sure, have tried to ignore it, but it is easier said than done. However since the build up to the Christmas period it definitely played in my favour, it turns out these books make the ideal Christmas present (well kind of) for all adults of all ages.I brought this book for my twenty something best friend who had just returned from a Disneyland holiday in America with her family including her four year old Disney princess loving daughter, who I also brought a Disney princess colouring in book for this Christmas, I thought it would be nice, different and kind of funny if they could both have the same present, this worked the four year old little girl didn't believe it and thought it was funny when mummy said that she also had a colouring book!On arrival and at first sight I was very disappointed, mainly with the quality of the front and back cover; the cover did not look the 'original' one, the cover is made of thick card and is obviously stuck on to the original front and back cover. As a result this makes the whole thing look out of proportion, and to be honest it looks a bit of a mess and not very presentable. The thick cover makes it hard to colour in when open and it resulted in it having a 'messy and ugly' spine as the spine as not be recovered and the edge of the thick card is exposed. It is a real Shame as it is a lovely book and would make the prefect present but I did not feel very good handing it over as a Christmas present, it looked like a cheap 'market rip off' from the outside. My guess is that the original cover was in another language and ready for sale in another country the card was used to cover this as the inside is purely images and no language/wording. Such a shame it was such a bad job,This all aside the inside was actually really good, the illustrations were beautiful and the images and detail were fantastic and featured a wide range of characters throughout Disney history. We, my best friend and I, had previously discussed the power of 'colouring in' and how it makes a great distraction from the 'real world' and creates a sense of calm and mindfulness.Since receiving this gift she has reported back on how it has been fantastic relaxation tool for her and maybe too much of a distraction from her 'real work' and a little bit addictive and not wanting to stop and 'must finish each page' but she is a little OCD and the thought of going outside the lines frustrated her greatly! Even though i had it in mind for her to colour in alongside her daughter while she does her own book, she as admitted to preferring to doing it while she is alone without the distraction of any children!!!To sum it up I DO really like this book internally, however, I do not think I would recommend it for someone to buy as a present, because like i previously said I did not feel good handing over a messy fronted book!

Good quality but depends what type of colouring you enjoy
The book itself is lovely quality, it's got a hard cover which makes it feel more special than a normal colouring book but there are a lot of pages where its lots of small repeated patterns to colour in rather than a large picture which is what I prefer.

A really good and arty colouring book for girls and women of any age
A nice colouring book. I got it for my sister who has a 4 month old baby. she enjoys colouring the pictures to wind down whilst he's napping. The pictures are good quality and not too tedious like some pattern colouring books are

Love it.
I love colouring and I love Disney, this is a great item with a variety of different designs. Just do NOT use sharpies to colour as the colour goes through to the back as the paper is not overly thick.
