These string lights all hang from the central star shape at the top. This makes using them the easy way to put lights on your xmas tree or use in the garden for a dramatic lights display. U can put the star over the tip of your tree & drape the lights down the sides to make a lovely set of lights indoors. Or attach the star on a tree, pole, wall or fence in the garden & fasten the light string ends down low so u form a tree shape with the lights. There are 280 multi-coloured LED lights on 10 separate strings. U can set the lights to your choice of 8 settings, from twinkling, flashing, fading, steady on etc. by pressing the button on the 3-pin transformer plug. When u turn the lights off, the next time they are turned on they will stay on the same setting u were using them on previously. The light strings themselves are completely waterproof so fine to use outdoors but u will need to keep the low voltage transformer plug dry. I think they are best used with a timer plug so we can have them turn on & off at the same time each night which will save on energy & means we dont have to remember to turn them off. I would definitely recommend this type of lights to u as u wont get all tangled up like before & its much quicker to put them on your tree. I will probably buy another set in warm white colours to use in the garden as they are so pretty.

The lights are weather proof; here in the UK that’s important when we can have all weather in one day. I tested the lights and when lit up they are amazing! When I do put them up for Christmas they will look the part! The light have 8 different light modes and all are lovely.The lights have a big star at the top which also lights up with the lights (I think that's really cool) you then place the strands down the tree, placing wherever you like

These look so much better in real life and they actually make lighting the tree very easy as you can simple place on top and let it fall down. Love the various lighting options from the remote too

Great lights, strong, colourful, much better then the battery operated ones

I'm not one to put decorations up early but this was that lovely I had too!I'll say we would of benefited from a longer wire given where we put it but it's about 10ft which is fab.The lights are super bright adding that lovely Christmas magic to our garden. There are several settings of light patterns which is lush. It's not a separate remote but the button is found on the plug. I've added it to our alexa plug so its super easy to turn on and off.As seen in the photo we've not got it in the best of places but it's on our garden tree. However It doesn't come with anything to use to attach it any kind of surface. I just used cable ties around the star to attach to the tree branches and and cable ties to fix the ends to various surfaces.Very sturdy and holding out in the weather.Brilliant product.
