Solid clamp which holds my 12.9 inch ipad firmly (with case!)
I've been looking for something like this for ages.... let me explain. I have a home cycling machine, and I want to watch tv while I cycle. Yes, I hate exercise, it bores me to tears. But at least if I can be watching a documentary or something while I exercise, I might have more incentive. But there's a problem, I have a 12.9 inch ipad pro, but not only that, it's encased in a brilliant Otterbox protective case (I dropped my last one). The case is not only rugged and large, but heavy too. But the ajustable 'jaws' (they supply different sizes) on the clamp cope extremely well, and hold it securely. The 'flexible' neck can be angled slightly, but it is very stiff so I wouldn't try to twist it into extreme positions. The base clamp easily fits onto the top of the display instrumentation box on the handlebars, and anyway the kit comes with several sizes of clamp. A couple of things, as this is a fixed exercise cycle there isn't too much movement but with the weight and the long ish neck it will move if it is on, say, a wheelchair going over bumpy ground so be aware. With a lighter tablet and no huge case, it's probably firmer. But for the use I have put it to, it is *ideal*. This is what I love about Amazon, if you long hard enough, read enough reviews, you can find your perfect bit of kit in the end! Please note I do not accept any free items to review, and am not connected with any of the manufacturers or suppliers of any item I write about.

Well made clamp, but not quite right for me.
I bought this to replace a cheaper tablet clamp, that I use on a keyboard stand, to read digital sheet music. I had read user reviews, and I appreciated that it would be very stiff to manipulate, however I found it too stiff to bend into the shape I required. The product is excellent quality but, unfortunately I had to return it as it didn't quite work for me.

Best iPad mount I've every used - but be wary of strength needed to adjust it!
I've bought two of these now. One to mount an iPad Pro semi-permamently on a Concept 2 rowing machine - a task to which it is perfectly suited. I think Concept 2 could almost sell these as official accessories. The second one provides an iPad mount on my office desk.Other mounts I've tried were flimsy and would lose tightness and just collapse under the weight of the iPad after a while. This one doesn't budge. At all. It's rock solid. For my purposes it's perfect, I couldn't be more satisfied with it.One word of caution though; it is extremely hard to reposition and bend the arm. This is a good thing for my uses, but for someone with mobility issues or without sufficient strength, it could be difficult to use and reposition.Remember you can always return things with Amazon - so if in doubt you can give it a try and send it back if it's too hard to maneuver. For the two stands I'm using, I wanted them specifically to be positioned once and then never move again, and they're perfect for that.Update: 18 months later; both of my stands are still as good as new and performing their function perfectly. Good quality item.

Brilliant, sturdy flexible support, fits iPad Pro perfectly
This does exactly what I wanted it to do. Attached to a table at the side of the table, angled to come across front of table at suitable height. The only tricky bit was realising the different lengths of the grips, two long and two medium is perfect. The neck is stiff, but not too stiff, I found no difficulty as another user did. Highly recommended.

Not Sturdy
+ The stand shakes while you type on your keyboard. If you are typing fast the frequency of vibration is proportional to your typing speed or desk vibrations.

Brilliant
This is a monster of a clamp and tablet holder.Unlike many others this won't move when installed. The clamp itself can be adjusted to clamp onto smaller bars if needed. It is more expensive than most of the others but it is worth it if you are looking for a quality clamp and tablet holder. It is important to note... The spring is extremely strong which means it is difficult to adjust into place without a fair effort. This is to be expected for such a strong spring and quality clamp, it means you won't have to adjust it over and over once in place. This is not the clamp you want if you want to move the position of the spring regularly. If you want a tablet holder that won't move then this is the one for you. It was worth the premium price.

Fairly sturdy
Used for work so plenty of people using and moving it about. Still up and working a few months later so seems sturdy enough. In use daily 16 hours a day.
