Best of British - quality sound at a great price
Excellent hand sized speaker. British design. Well built and sturdy, easy to use. Good sound and quite loud. Hooked up to my laptop with bluetooth right away and plugged in my mp3 player with the mini-jack with no problems. Amazing value for money. 5 stars.

Basic but ok
This is an ok speaker. It has good battery life, is solid and stable. Sound quality is ok. It doesn’t have depth but does a good enough job. The options of using SD card or usb are handy. There are a few downsides that limit it to 4 stars for me. It is heavy for a small speaker. You want it solid but the weight of it means I am unlikely to pop in my bag and travel with it. The on/off alert sounds are very loud. It also has poor volume control. When you turn it on it is really loud, and the adjustment goes from too loud, to too quiet, there is very little option in between.

Best bluetooth speaker under £25 in its class in my opinion.
Excellent clear dynamic sound with very loud volume on maximum at 10 watts total;loud enough for a large room;at maximum volume, speaker was good for around 3 hrs thus the stated battery life of upto 10 hrs is based on around 3 watts or a third of the maximum volume setting this volume would be adequate for a small to very small room.To control volume level this can only be done on your bluetooth device such as a smartphone/tablet etc. as no visual indications on bluetooth speaker regarding volume.Surprised that no visual indication on speaker but this is only a small thing as can be set by your device. It takes around 3 hrs to charge from empty. You will know its running out of power as it will beep a number of times and then decrease and eventually switch off.Very impressed with the loudness of this bluetooth speaker as well as the dynamic audio range and clarity of sound with some bass but not too much thus well defined clear high quality audio.Very Highly Recommended.Update in Feb 21:After using these high grade Bluetooth portable speakers for around 10 mths now;the positives I would say is that you can answer calls has built in microphone in speaker;it accepts TF card(memory cards upto 64GB),it has an AUX port as well as comes supplied with excellent grade 3.5mm audio cable and micro usb charge cable;it is also fairly light considering at 375gms and also very straightforward and easy to connect to Bluetooth devices.I have always found all the audio products such as wired earphones, headphones and most recently Bluetooth headphones exceptionally high grade and excellent value for money. The slight negatives:battery capacity is 2200mAh thus lower battery rating of upto 10 hrs and no waterproof rating but I already knew this when I purchased this excellent little speaker.I have not been able to directly compare with other Bluetooth speakers until very recently when I bought some Reka 30 watts waterproof speakers from Aldi but these are obviously higher rated with features and technology. However I have been able to compare these Betron D51 Bluetooth Speakers with TDK Portable Stereo Speaker and Gear4 HouseParty 3 Home Stereo speaker system with FM radio for iPod;both from yesteryear. The TDK are around 15 watts and Gear4 HouseParty 3 Speaker system is 30 watts however these are mains operated speakers and do not have Bluetooth facility and are both excellent high grade speakers and funny enough I bought from car boot sale for £1(TDK)and £8(Gear4 HouseParty 3);their normal price is between £40-£100 checking online. After checking at length and in depth reviews of both expert and customer reviews;I personally would say Anker SoundCore 2 Portable Speaker with 12 Watt Stereo Sound(approx £40)and Tribit XSound Go 12 Watt Portable Speaker(approx £35)may be possibly better than or at least on par with Betron D51 Speaker;also these both have bigger batteries between 4200mAh and 5600mAh thus higher rated power of upto 24hrs each and they are both IPX7 rated thus completely waterproof including being submersible for a limited time.I have Anker power adaptors, cables and powerbanks and I've been very impressed with the very high quality;exceptional customer service and competitive prices. All of my Anker products are all working well even my old 10000mAh PowerBank and many fast chargers, cables and 20000mAh PowerBank that are around 2 to 4 yrs old thus on that basis;I would say Anker Soundcore would be an excellent alternative Bluetooth speaker if your budget can stretch to £40.At this budget I would say Anker and Tribit I personally would go for at this budget. However after saying all this I rate the Betron D51 Bluetooth Speaker has Best Bluetooth Speaker under £25.By the way when I purchased this back in April 2020 I paid just £21 thus at the time significantly less than both the Anker and Trinity's and the time I wasn't concerned with waterproof speaker and upto 24 hr battery power between charges. Now that I have Reka 30 watts waterproof speakers these now tick these boxes and much more and I can pair between the 2 speakers I purchased around a week ago.I am very impressed with these speakers on so many levels;exceptional;with even a 3 yr warranty but I digress.Hope this updates helps thus I have changed my original title for this review to Best bluetooth speaker under £25 in it's class as opposed to Best bluetooth speaker under £50 in my opinion.

Not bad
To be honest, it's what you would expect from a very cheap priced speaker. The bass is middling and the tone is clear enough. If you just want to listen to music as a background noise without worrying about really feeling the sound, it's fine. Good value for a reasonable sound.

Good Value
Good sound from such a small unit. USB connectivity slightly difficult but bluetooth and direct wiring fine. Generally very pleased, especially at such a low price.

Good value
The price for the wireless speaker was the lowest with the spcification stated. I use it in my office, so that I and my colleague can hear music. The volume is ample for our 600 square feet of office. I have charged the speakers once, and they aree still going strrong, afeter about 12 hours. The sound quality is OK but not brilliant, but I would not expect it to be better for the price and size.I have only used the speaker for 5 days, so cannot comment on long term durability. But it feels quite sturdy and appears to be well built.
