DEWALTDW0811-XJ 360 Degree Line and Cross Line Laser Level, 0 V, Black/Yellow, Set of 6 Piece

I started with a basic Stanley laser level which was great for DIY jobs but completely out of its depth on a construction site.I use the De Walt laser level for setting out new floors and ceilings so need the 360 degree level.This is a solid well made level that does what it says on the tin. The laser is clear and much easier to see than some in strong light.On the whole, a recommendable product.

Good product at a decent price only thing is a struggle is if you use it outside and it's a bright day the red laser doesn't show up well at all

I decided to buy this laser after many years of using a single spot laser.For setting out indoors it is excellent, giving a clear line on most surfaces. I gave four stars rather than five because outside in sunlight the laser is very hard to see further than a couple of metres. I tried the Dewalt DE0892 laser detector DeWalt Digital Laser Detector with 50m Range and dispite Dewalt saying that it only works with the DW088K & DW089K Line Lasers it worked fine with my DW0811 laser, so allows this laser to be used very successfully outside on bright days in my ecperience.

Before this I was putting up pictures by eye. I did get them straight but it took a long time. This thing helped me get pictures on every single wall perfectly. You WILL need a tripod. No way around that as you can't angle it upwards or downwards, which i'd hoped, because then it won't autolevel. Having said that, once you get the line on the wall where you want it, just measure along it, nail or drill where you want and hang pictures. It has literally saved me hours of maths and measuring to get things on the wall in the right place. You don't need a dark room as the red lasers (independent horizontal and vertical lines) show very well. But avoid bright sunlight, then you can't see a damn thing. Oh and be careful where you're looking, its super easy to accidentally look at the laser when hanging things at head height.

Sehr gutes Produkt. Einfach zu bedienen aber gut durchdacht. Der Fuß mit der Höhenberstellung ist sehr nützlich vor allem in Kombination mit Stativ.

Buono per uso in stanze semi buie, ma il laser risulta poco visibile in stanze esposte direttamente alla luce solare o all'esterno.
