Money Belt for Men Travel Security Belt with Hidden Money Compartment Pocket, Cashsafe Anti-Theft Wallet Non-Metal Buckle

A few reviewers had me concerned that the hidden pocket zipper would be visible. Mine only folds flat and parallel with the belt. This belt is easily adjustable and will be ideal for long flights or sightseeing days. Will be going through TSA on Thursday and will update whether or not they require me to remove the belt or if I can go through the scanner with it. ***TSA DID ASK ME TO REMOVE IT, DIDN'T CARE IF IT'S METALLIC OR NOT.*** I like the simple look of the belt. It'll look great with jeans or hiking/tactical pants and is lightweight and won't be a burden of any kind. At the hidden pocket, the belt is 1 and 5/8 inches (3.75 cm) wide. Inside the pocket is 1 and 1/4 inches wide (3 cm). This belt isn't flimsy and doesn't give the impression it will curl into a tube. No complaints whatsoever about this belt. Will update after my trip if my opinion changes. ***UPDATE: After traveling to the other side of the world and going through security at several airports, I can confirm they ALL ASKED ME TO REMOVE the belt. Not a single airport security officer cared if I said it was non metallic either. It is still an excellent belt for international travel, just make sure you trim it to fit your waist at home.

I have two of these belts and they are great! They hold up and look like new after daily use for a year. The buckle is strong and attractive. Easy to adjust the length of the belt with a simple cut. The zipper on the inside for money works great. When I travel, I always put a few bills in the zipper pocket and easily hidden for safety.. Great item and looks good.

The belt is easy to use. I like the fact that, unlike many "military style" belts, the buckle has "teeth" that provide a firm grip on the belt and avoid slippage. The inside pocket is a long pocket. A few folded bills will fit into it easily. The outside of the belt gives no indication of the hidden pocket. For all anyone is concerned, it's just a thin, "military style" belt. There is no discomfort associated with the inside zipper. I've worn the belt for hours on end without any sign of discomfort. I haven't had it for enough time to comment on its durability. We shall see how it holds up. But so far, I've seen nothing which indicates it won't last a long time.

I have started traveling much more often in the last few years, so I have started to try and buy products that help to protect our belongings while we are away. I have so many friends that have had cash stolen whilst on vacation that I have become really weary while we are away. But with two small children its so easy to become distracted and plus we have little control of things when we are staying in crowded and busy hotels. So I would actually place cash and credit cards hidden in my shoe soles and other places that would not be obvious. But it’s not very practical so I searched all over for something like this heavy duty belt with a secret compartment. It has been like a Godsend because it looks nice on, it’s good quality but most of all it’s super discreet at hiding cash. It give me so much peace of mind knowing that my cash is safe and that I can have it accessible when I need and hidden when I want to. If you travel often then you are a target to pick pockets, thieves and just nasty people so you need to be much more than careful you need to be safe, this belt does just that; keeps your hard earned cash safe ;)

While I had high hopes for this travel belt, I ultimately found it to be not quite the right fit for my needs. As I was preparing for a trip deep into non-tourist areas of Mexico and wanted a discreet way to stash money, I found that the belt fell short in a few key areas.The main issue I encountered was the narrowness of the belt, which made it difficult to stash money with ease. Additionally, the zipper on the belt's pouch tended to show as it dangled, making it evident that there was something stored on the backside of the belt. For my purposes, this lack of discreetness was a deal-breaker.However, I must commend the seller for their excellent customer service. Upon returning the item, they promptly refunded my money without any hassle. It's clear that they value customer satisfaction and stand behind their products.Despite the shortcomings, I will keep an eye on this item in case the seller makes enhancements to the build. The quality of the belt and the impressive buckle make me hopeful that with some improvements, it could become the perfect travel accessory. I'm willing to support this great seller and give the product another chance in the future.

This is a very good money belt and I like the fact that the buckle is not metal and will not set off any metal detectors.

It fits well. zero metal let me through airport scanner without issues. It comes as a very large fit but you can cut down to size as needed (make sure to melt the end with a lighter to keep it from fraying). Very similar to military belts & buckles. The concealed zipper section is 19" long and not sweat/waterproof! It will hold at least 4 bills folded in half twice and long enough to do that 3 times with a little overlap (12 bills total depending on currency of the country). The picture shows what happened to a photocopy of my passport from 3 months of getting sweaty/rained on. I wore it everyday for 3 months & everything still works great!

The belt's very small profile very much limits what you can put in it. If you want to put in cash, it can only be a minimum number of bills for two reasons: 1) You have to fold the bills in half the long way for nearly any currency to fit. 2). I tried to put 10 US bills in there; after folding them in half, I had to split them into two batches of five in order to let the zipper close. A passport will not fit into the belt. If all you want is a belt for a credit card or two and a small amount of cash, it's fine. Not useful for anything more than that.
