UK made, token of appreciation
For less than £4 this is a lovey little gesture of affection, with a pleasing sentiment, and it's light enough to pop in a card and send via Royal Mail if needed. It's petite so great for children and small wristed people, and if you use the right knots it's adjustable too. The pendant doesn't clatter about or get caught in clothing, which is ideal. I appreciate the fact it's from a UK based company - I'm all for helping our own economy thrive, and even though it's a small value item, my children like to receive these or give them as gifts to friends, so everyone is a winner really :)- MADE IN THE UK. Ugh. I am so tired of everything I consider buying being made in China or some 3rd world sweatshop. These are MADE IN THE UK. Here. In this country. Where people need jobs and we need businesses to pay taxes and we need to encourage entrepreneurs to stay put instead of f*&ing off to Dubai or the USA- light and small enough that it can be slipped inside a card and popped in the mail for the same price as a regular cardThe only thing I don't like about these wishstrings is that they always arrive with a big white sticker on their plastic outer packaging. When trying to remove the white sticker, it leaves a nasty trace on the cellophane, so then I feel I should remove the outer plastic before giving the gift: just the cardboard and the string, which leaves it a bit unprotected. It looks a bit fresher as a gift if you give it still in the plastic/cellophane outer wrapper. But, that's a small niggle. I plan to keep ordering these wishstrings for years to come.

Great wee gifts
I have ordered many "Wish strings" from this company.Do I actually believe that when tied around the wrist when making a wish, the wearer will then get his/her wish come true once the string breaks? OF COURSE NOT!But here are some reasons I love these and will continue to order them:- the current price is under £4. To me, that's an ideal price for a little thoughtful token of affection or thanks to someone I care about- MADE IN THE UK. Ugh. Nice idea, but...
I like the idea behind these, it is a cute notion. Make a wish, tie the bracelet on and when the string snaps your wish will come to pass. Of course, it won't really - but it is a sweet idea. So, I did want to like this but for me I am afraid the item itself is rather plain and could be of better quality. Basically, it's okay as a token gift but a bit underwhelming.
