UPDATE:If your cat or dog food is smaller than 12mm (as recommended for the feeder to work properly), but the food has an irregular shape, the food dispenser may not work properly. My cat's food came in round, triangle and "Y" shaped pellets. The food dispenser would get stuck if the triangles and Y shaped pellets would get lodged together causing the rest of the food to not dispense properly. Luckily, I was about to run out of dry cat food so I replaced it with round shaped pellets only and it's been working every since. As long as the food is round and less than 12mm (which most cat foods are), then this will work fine. But if you have irregular shaped food, it may cause the feeder to not work properly. Otherwise, it's been working great, hardly makes any noise while dispensing food so my cat was not afraid of the feeder and she looks forward to her treats. I would also like to note that this company has great customer service. They contact me to see if there was anything they could do to help resolve the issue and give the product another try. Most times you rarely hear from the seller so I was VERY happy to get an email. I would highly recommend this feeder.Original Review: With the very first set up, the food got stuck so it only dispensed ONE morsel. I removed all of the food and reset again. It gives me a sinking feeling the food may get stuck from time to time and there is no indication of notifying me it's not working properly, giving false expectations that your cat is being fed while you are out of the house.

This dispenser is a genius! To the sound of my own voice, it dips food out three times a day and my cats come running. My mind is at ease, knowing the dry cat food will be on time, on days I’m not. Plug into the wall socket or use batteries. Even if I unplug it for a while, the settings remain when it’s plugged back in (without batteries!). I’ll put batteries in to use as a back up in the future. Thank you to Amazon for offering this wonderful product. I recommend this to all cat owners and small dog owners. It’s perfect!

I previously bought a different version of this autofeeder, the one with two bowls, and it works perfectly fine but for some odd reason this single bowl version - and I'm sure they're the exact same other than bowl count - will over time desync and fall short on time with the other feeder. They're plugged into the same plug spot with the same type of cord so I'm not sure what's causing the desync but other than that - an easy adjust every so often - these are very nice! A good size for my 3 cats, sturdy, and easy to set up and use!

As a busy professional with multiple pets, I have come to rely heavily on automatic feeders to ensure their consistent and timely feeding. Recently, I purchased four additional feeders for my extra cages, as I often have a demanding work schedule that requires me to be away from home for extended periods.However, I have encountered a significant issue with these feeders: they frequently reset and sometimes fail to dispense food at the programmed times. This has resulted in my cats experiencing hunger and agitation, which is unacceptable and compromises their well-being.Despite my efforts to set the meals and hours diligently every other day, the feeders continue to malfunction. This situation has become increasingly frustrating and time-consuming, and I am concerned about the impact it is having on my pets' health and well-being.I kindly request a refund for these feeders, as they have proven to be unreliable and inadequate for my needs. I hope that this issue can be resolved promptly, as I prioritize the proper care and feeding of my pets.

We have indoor and outdoor cats that have taken up here. These feeders work great. The large hoppers keep the food going for several days. For our our outdoor cat we purchased two of them to extend the time between filling the hoppers. One is set up for an AM feeding and the other one for a PM feeding. The batteries are great for keeping the unit programmed and working during a power outage.

We have a picky cat and it didn’t work for him.

For the price and for the reviews, I was expecting to not work. It works it's price makes it worth it so far no problems. For cat food is perfect doesn't get stuck I can't speak for dog food because I know there are bigger pebbles food. I read a review of a lady saying it only works with batteries IS NOT TRUE🙃 I plugged mine in and works fine, I think the batteries are required if you want it unplugged 🤷🏽‍♀️ the voice recording works is just a little low volume for my liking but who cares it feeds your furry ones.

The media could not be loaded. It’s cheaper than getting one at PetCo. It came in time before my trip. My cat adjusted to it really well. It has a recording setting where you can record your voice to tell your pet when it’s time to eat. The set up was simple. Just have patience when figuring out the settings. Hold the settings button to lock and Re-lock when you need to make adjustments. It does military time. It fits nicely in our studio apartment, it’s not a giant eye sore. I’m just glad I didn’t have to pay $80+ for one. This is good to have if you don’t have time or know anybody to take care of your cat while you’re gone. It took time, but our cat Kupon loves it.
