Hard work pays off for Comfortable Lounger
Comfortable reclining lounger chair with Ottoman.Packaging:Material and components came in a large undamaged box. It was too large for one person to lift but I was able to push the box as it wasn't too heavy. Chair components were wrapped in padding to prevent damage during transportation.Building:I built the chair and ottoman independently and it probably took me 90 minutes. I would have liked the instructions to be a bit more detailed and the pictures to be larger as it was difficult to see which screw to use and how to assemble the components. Nonetheless, it is easier for the reader to decipher the instructions.Comfort:The material is good considering it is synthetic leather and wood DOES NOT feel cheap. The chair is indeed comfortable and I enjoy being able to recline in the chair with the lever on the right-hand side for easy access. I placed a sleeve at the side of the chair so it can hold things like remote controls, magazines, and books for easy use.Would definitely recommend the chair to those who want a relatively cheap recliner and ottoman.

Good product for the price
I wasn't aware it would arrive disassembled. While not difficult to assemble, an inconvenience nonetheless

Confortable, but
The ottoman is well built and very sturdy. The faux leather is soft and confortable. The chair reclining mechanism is very hard to work. It does not adjust easily, as if out of alignment or never in alignment. Luckily I can leave this chair in one position to use all the time, but I thought I was getting an adjustable recliner. The chair pedistal rotates, but is very noisey. Also before 30 days one of the pedistal brackets has fallen out of its predrilled hole. No screws hold this just pressure fit, so I will have to hack a fix to make this bracket stay in its position see picture.

Not your first choice!!!
Look, I knew I was not buying a family heirloom but this chair is 'cheap'. They took every shortcut on this unit with 'staples', the PU leather has no resemblance to leather whatsoever, and assembly is full of minor shortcuts that were very annoying. The footstool is more sturdy than the chair!!! And reclining is minimal. I am keeping it because of the hassle of returning it, but if you are looking for something in this style LOOK ELSEWARE!

Insanely Frustrating
I'm writing this review at the height of my frustration in the assembling of this chair. I had to walk away or risk injuring myself or others. I'm hoping another reviewer has left helpful hints. If not, honestly, I'm using a hammer and drywall screws.Other reviewers did note that the parts come in a jumbled bundle and the defining descriptions are cryptic. Cartoon screw pictures all look alike. Differentiating brass from black would have stopped me from stopping a dozen times to question my screw choice.I am at the point where the arms allegedly attach to the frame, squeezing past the seat cushion to be affixed with bolt #QM33.455 or whatever. Only the padding is so thick (a good thing) that the predrilled holes are sunk deep in bolt-choking foam.Add my dad commenting like C3P0, and you'll know why I stopped for the day.So, no, I can not at this point recommend this chair. The pieces look lovely, though I can't foresee a time when they all fit together into a chair. If you're fine with your mom sitting with unattached armrests, then you'll have no issues.Advice for anyone reading this review too late: Flip the base upside down in order to attach the bolts at the base of the backrest. Don't expect the provided wrench to hold the nuts firmly. It'll slip dozens of times. That's as far as I got.Good luck.
