This is the kit to get, with a couple caveats.
If you're reading this, then you are looking to replace your spouts from CARB compliant gas cans that not only do not work well, but they hinder you from filling a tank. But because of government overreach, you now cannot buy a new gas can that is not CARB compliant. (I am from California, the origin of such stupidity. I apologize on behalf of my fellow citizens.) There is nothing stopping you however from modifying said gas cans.I am an Uber driver, so I thought rather than going to the gas station every day, I would just get some gas cans, fill them all at the gas station, and just fuel back up at home later at my convenience, especially if it's late at night and only the more expensive 24/7 stations are open. The problem is that any gas can you can buy now is ridiculously cumbersome and fills extremely slow with the nozzles provided. It would take me over 6-10 minutes each to empty my 5-gallon cans into the tank with the provided nozzles, depending on how much the nozzles chose to suck. With this kit, I cut that down to about 2 minutes to empty a 5-gallon can. So it really does work as intended. This is especially helpful since I have to awkwardly hold the can at an angle to fill the tank, and the less time it takes, the better because of the weight I have to hold. The top hat looking caps twist on in order to get a better seal on the spout. What makes this kit better than others I have bought and tried is that the plastic for the nozzles is pretty thick. With others, the plastic was very thin, and the first time I would try to use them, the weight of the gas can would flatten and deform to the point that they would split open or squeeze the hose enough to prevent flow. The gaskets on the others were also weak and cheap, breaking on the first use, and would leak gas everywhere too. The rubber on these gaskets are pretty strong and I have not experienced any breaks, deformities, or wear yet. No leaks either. So while you get more for less for other kits, the quality just isn't there and they'll be useless to you.One thing I did not like about these is the included drill bit. It does not work well at all. If you have something better like a titanium bit, just use that. I tried the one included first and it took me well over 20 minutes to get into the plastic while also trying to use a hole punch. On my second can I used my own titanium one and it took only a few minutes. The venting caps went in no problem and offer a tight seal while also giving away very easily to allow venting.Be forewarned, there is a chance the caps for the nozzles' base (collar caps) may not screw on to your gas can very well, even if you’ve measured the diameter of the can opening. The coarse cap did well on my Midwest brand gas cans, however it did not for my Garage Boss brand cans. While I did get them on the GB ones eventually, it took a wrench to get it back off; just not an option when you're at the gas station trying to get them off to get the gas in.I highly suggest buying Midwest gas cans not only because I know these caps play nice with them but also since they have that convenient side handle when you have to hold it awkwardly to pour it. Best price and place seems to be Target: under $19 each (though stock may be an issue and they cannot be bought online, at least in CA). They're usually $25 at Harbor Freight Tools but sales can knock them down to $20 too.So far, no leaks from the collar cap or nozzle and I've been using it for almost a year now after more than 100 fill ups and outdoor storage. No signs of deformities, cuts, or even discoloration, including the rubber gaskets inside.

Good Product
The spouts were easy to install and they do not leak. The screw collars fit my cans without a problem. The spouts make it much easier to dispense gas into lawn equipment than the very difficult to use BS government mandated spouts I replaced.

Worked great to replace original, difficult to use, anti spill spouts.
This was a great replacement for my 5 gallon gas cans with the anti spill spouts.A huge advantage is the spout is longer for pouring into a car or truck gas tank. Previously, I had to use a funnel since the original spouts were so short. These don't leak, were easy to install with the different size collars, and are so much easier to use. They replaced the spouts on gas cans from Walmart and Home Depot, so they should fit most styles and brands.

Back to Normal!
Has worked amazingly well. Simple cans I’ve just recently purchased at normal box stores (2024) already used both filler necks many times without issue. The rear vent installs very easily. The bit the provide was actually a very perfect fit. One of my best cheap purchases on here.I recommend drilling the vent with an empty can so you can drill it up at an angle, allowing the shavings to fall to the ground rather than back into your can. Carbs probably not going to like those lol
