Excellent training item with software
Really good training program and remote if you are thinking of getting into remote control aircraft. Very easy to use and full training modules in the software to help you learn how to fly from beginner to advanced. (Software download via Steam). Excellent for new pilots, gain valuable experience before taking your own aircraft out. The software flying experience is just like flying for real. Definitely recommend to any new pilot or experienced to try out new moves before you take out your aircraft.

Realistic RC Flight Simulator
Very happy with the realistic presentation and smoothness of this RC Flight Simulator. Reason for not giving 5 stars is that the software would not load from CD and had to download from the site. This is recognised on RealFlight site and is poor for what should be modern software and I expected better for the price. Also, some aspects of the installation are a bit 'old school' . Some niggles with a couple of buttons on the controller not matching with the Help for the InterLink Controller and the help video for the controller is the old RealFlight controller. Not sure if HH will see this to address in an update. Overall happy with the simulator itself and could do with some improvements and quality checks around the edges.

Just not worth the money against alternatives
Well this is a piece of software that is overpriced for the quality. I had an RC flight simulator about 15 or so years ago called Clearview. 15 years on this product is no better than that which is still retailing at a quarter the cost if this product (separating out the controller cost). I was looking forward to using VR with this product and it does work in VR but with such antique graphics that the aircraft etc are just not viewable becoming almost line segments at a distance. Now on the Quest VR store there is a free. Yes free. VR RC flight simulator. You know what while it has not got the selection of aircraft it has got the graphics side sorted with the aircraft being viewable at a reasonable perceived distance. So If you are thinking of buying this product. My advice is… Buy a controller you can plug in to USB there are plenty of perfectly adequate and good ones out there for less than the cost of the packaged controller (which has more functions than are useable in the sim) then if you want to use a PC buy clearview. If you want to use VR then get the Meta Quest VR RC simulator software. Even if you buy them all they will still he a lot cheaper than this antique software, and it’s over bloated controller.

Problems with Anti-Virus software
I have the simulator software together with the Interlink DX controller. Taken as software alone, it works well and looks realistic with lots of model planes.....But, it interacts with antivirus software - badly. My computer uses Bullguard and Spyhunter5. Both will independently stop the installation and have to be disabled first. No so much of a problem one might think. However, if Bullguard is re-enabled after the installation then it quarantines the RF9.5 launch software and you have to reinstall it all over again. In other words, RF9.5 is not compatible with some antivirus engines. Caveat emtptor! No answer from Horizon Hobby yet either.
