Hamsters are adorable
I purchased a female dwarf hamster for my Granddaughter. I had hamsters when I was a kid. It’s important they have their baths. This was the best sand I could find. It very soft and very fine. Julia loves rolling in it. My favorite part is when the little thing shakes like a dog after bathing herself.Do not bath hamsters in water. Just saying in case you are new to hamsters.

The product itself is fine, but the packaging is very inconvenient. When you open the bag, everything spills out. It would be much better if it had a ziplock or was packed more securely.

Not what we ordered
I’d leave zero stars if possible. There were black pellets in the sand which are not pictured in the product page. My daughter’s hamster began gnawing on one of these pellets so we removed the sand immediately and now monitoring the hamster to make sure she’s okay. Not at all as described and very disappointed.
