I have to say that both of my grandsons (10 and 12yrs) REALLY liked these water guns. You can battery them - but the really best thing is that they can totally be used manually too. The batteries last a really long time - several hours - longer than they wanted to use them! How often can you can that. They hold about 2 cups or so of water - they did refill often - but it's easy and I never once heard anything disparaging about having to refill. Honestly, over the years these are the best water guns I've ever purchased and they were such a reasonable price. They are obviously plastic. The manual is like a hand pump shot gun and the squirt is 30 or 40ft easy - manual or battery. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. The electric water gun came on time. My two boys cannot keep their hands off of it while my husband and I were putting it together. It was very easy to assemble and it came with a rechargeable battery. It was very easy to feel and the gun is not heavy at all. Our 4 year old was able to hold and manage the water gun while it was full so it was not too heavy at all. We went outside and we had so much fun!! One pull of the trigger and the water came out automatically. It comes out in a steady stream. We got about 5 minutes of play out of the water gun before we had to refill it. It was probably less than 5 minutes but we were having so much fun and getting soaked that it was hard to tell how long the water actually lasted- not long at all. I will definitely purchase three more - one for the rest of my family. This electric water gun truly is fun for the whole family, kids and adults alike. Beware, it's easy for someone to get shot in the eye so please use caution, especially with little ones.

This is perfect for kids that struggle to use both hands such as my son who has cerebral palsy. No need for him to struggle trying to pump to shoot! Still has the option though for him to work on using his weaker hand or other players when the battery runs out in the middle of a “water battle”.

Used it once, then automatic mode quit working. With the battery fully charged, and the water tank full, you pull the trigger for automatic and you hear the motor/pump running, but no water is shooting out of the gun. Piece of junk.

It only produces a weak stream. Sounds like a personal problem 🤣😅
