I bought this product and had it installed by my electrician along with several other smart outlets. the other outlets I bought directly from Home Depot. This particular outlet stopped working after one year. not only did I pay for the purchase of the item I had to pay for the electrical install although I know some people can do it on their own. I give it a one star. outlets shouldn’t last just one year and there’s no return on it. Boo.

Not kasa order accidentally

I like the outlet, but it has one major flaw. Whenever the power goes out, everything defaults to "off". I wish I could set one of the outlets to "always on".That said, I've found a solution to this issue. With the Gosund/SmartLife app, you can set it so that if the device state is set to "off", then do this action, which I set to turn the device state to "on". Additionally, their support is great! They responded to my review, while not able to provide a solution, but offered to refund me for the product.

It worked fine when I installed. But after less than two weeks, one of the 120v outlets failed. I still can hear the relay clicking inside, but no power. I was most interested in automating the USB ports, but not having the two power sockets in the place I installed is a big problem.
