I am keeping this rug by the back door. I like the look of the rug. The design also masks small stains that may make their way onto the rug from coming in the back door. That’s also a win.The rug is a little thin, thinner than expected. Not sure about long term durability.Also, I almost fell backwards stepping onto the rug because there is nothing grippy on the underside. It needs a liner or under pad to avoid slipping and falling.

We REALLY want to love this rug; however, it is stiff and thin to walk on. We will order a thicker pad for it and see if that improves the feel. The colors look brighter online than in person. Not our favorite Vine product.

This rug is beautifully crafted and just screams quality. The measurements are exactly 11'6" by 15'7" and it really spruces up our living space. It has a great weight and feels luxurious even as you unroll it. The packaging was very nicely done - there were booties put on each end of the rolled rug, then a clear plastic layer for protection, and a solid white thicker layer for shipping. My rug arrived in perfect condition.I find that it's always hard to find a rug online by looking only at pictures, but the description "ocean gold" is actually very fitting for this particular variety that I received. There are subtle hues of blue and gold throughout, and when the light hits the rug, it almost looks like a shimmery silver. In low lighting, the rug appears darker like the ocean does after sundown.I put a 3/8inch rug pad underneath it, and that made a big difference in padding. The rug itself is fairly low pile and benefits from the cushion of the rug pad. I found the rug to be soft and comfortable to walk on this way.The inner edge of the rug that was rolled up did take a few days to finally calm down and lay flat. This is typical of any rug. I found that the smell of the new rug was fairly faint compared to other rugs I've purchased, and it dissipated after a few days.Overall, this is a great quality rug that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. I would definitely consider purchasing another rug from this company in the future based on this experience.

I love this rug. For less than $1000 I can have something in my living room thats not a cheap rug, but looks high quality. Its soft, but low pile. It is currently slippery when it first came unrolled. I think thats just because its brand new and it may get a little less slippery over time? either way, my kids have slipped on it more than once. Its very thin so definitely will be adding padding later. But just a heads up! no turning too fast or running on it. At least not right away.

This rug is even better than I was hoping for. It's soft, large, and not too hard to place. I previously had a Ruggable rug where the edges lifted up too much, but the edges sit flat with this rug. I would recommend getting a rug pad or tape still if you're going to place this on tile because it does slide. I placed this rug on top of my Ruggable one, and you can't tell by looking at it. It's really comfortable to stand and sit on though!PS - The photos where the rug looks lighter are more true to how it looks. The other photos were taken with flash and show the rug as darker than it is. Also, this rug had more copper specs to it than I had hoped, but it still looks great!

The first thing I noticed is that the rug is ultra thin and I was immediately disappointed. Needless to say that for $1,400 I expected a more luxurious quality.

Wow, just wow. I clearly was not prepared for how large this rug was actually going to be in my mind compared to reality. The craftsmanship is incredible, it was shipped folded in thirds, and then rolled and laid out flat immediately. There were no wrinkles to deal with, and it is super soft. The colors are exactly as seen in the photos.

I love the look of this rug in my living room. I’m glad I got the larger size as it fits the area perfectly. The colors in the rug are muted but it’s still pretty. The texture is soft but not plush at all. Also, the backing isn’t nonslip, so I’m keeping it in place with the help of my loveseat. There is short fringe on the two short sides. Everything about this rug appears to be well made from quality materials. Overall my family is very happy with it.
