One of the containers is damaged. Wont stay secure when shut. Box was ok since it was double boxed. Out of 8 only one was damaged. Love the size. Easy to manage.

These boxes were almost perfectly sized for my purposes. And having some similar IRIS USA boxes that were quality items, I hoped these would meet my needs totally.But...Lids - described as "Latching" and "Certified by Green Circle for environmentally friendly plastic airtight storage container" - will not latch onto the boxes. While they have small latches on the two long ends, the design is such that they will not securely latch on both sides at the same time. The design will make moving these boxes an exercise in keeping the lids on the boxes. Not to mention, with the lids on, they are definitely not even remotely close to airtight.Stacking - described as "... has groves on the lid and body to create a secure stacking experience. IRIS USA lid-body construction ensures stability to stack securely for easy moving...". These boxes are not really stackable when compared to other similar products. The grooves on the bottom of the box, are not really big enough to keep these boxes from slipping when stacked and thus they do not stack well at all as any movement causes the upper box to slide. As for easy moving, any "stacked" box will likely end up on the floor unless you can keep the lower boxes absolutely level and move them VERY slowly.And finally, they are shipped "nested" within each other. And some of the boxes were so tightly stuck together, that they were almost impossible to separate. I literally had to almost fold one of the boxes completely in half to break the vacuum seal between the two boxes sufficiently to separate them. The sharpish plastic edges of these boxes could potentially cut a persons skin during this process. Fortunately, once separated, it appears no permanent damage was done to to my skin or to either box.

Cheap , flimsy lids that do not really stay on well. But they will be fine for me. Just beware if you want something airtight.

Using for my shoes to keep stacked tidy in closet. Clear to see each without having to open each one when searching.

I wear wide/large shoes so I put only one in its own box (pair of large shoes need 2 shoe boxes). I could have pressed the shoes together very firmly to be able to use only 1 shoe box..I chose to use 1 box for 1 shoe (if large)..Closes easy. Clear to know whats in it..I bought 3 sets of 12. 1 set for shoes. Part of a set for ods and ends in my garage. Plus a set in my bathroom pantry holding extra things we need (store more than you need to prep for the next supply chain problem). Dozen toothpase tubes and dozen packs of floss, dozen deodorant, 10 asprin containers etc. Buying in bulk in case there is another illegal shutdown of stores or a supply chain problem causing shortges.Buy bulk today when supply is good. Store in the shoeboxes.

I bought these to store fabrics and threads. The size was prefect, and the sheerness what I needed. However, the lids were not tight and did not fit - they just 'sat' on top of the containers and slide off if touched at all. The plastic used in the containers is extremely thin and flimsy - the disposable food containers I get at the grocery store are sturdier. Returned.

Used for toy and art supply storage. These are a good size and sturdy. The lid does not click to make a strong seal. Nonetheless, for my purposes these are fantastic. If you are planning to put heavy items in them or overfilling them, I would not recommend. I am sure these would also be great for shoe storage.
