IM USING THESE ON MY HOBIE PRO ANGLER 14. THEY FIT VERY LOOSLY SO WHEN I TRY TO PULL MY ROD OUT OF IT THE ENTIRE THING COMES OUT STILL ATTACHED TO MY ROD. IM SURE SOME SLIGHT MODIFICATIONS WILL FIX THIS.

Don't fit
They look good and I'm sure they would work fine. However I have a Feel Free Lure 13.5 with two rod holders that we're built in. Bad news is: these don't fit at all is there anything I should try prior to just returning these?

Not bad for the price
I have a Hobie Outback. The base is small, so you have to use the O-ring that is provided for a tight fit. You'll need to drill a few premarked holes and pop-rivet the safety loops on (also provided). Hobie wanted $30 and $10 shipping. For the price, a good substitute

work well for Hobies
I have purchased 4 of these. 2 for my hobie pro angler and 2 for my hobie outback. They fit perfect in the pro angler, but in the outback the rod hole appears like it is not all the way in due to the outback having shallow rod holders. On both kayaks they are sturdy and work great.

The fit is great on my Pro Angler 14, the O-rings that are supplied give a snug fit in the built in rod holders.
