Mine: Alternate Cover Edition

YES YES YES!!! This has been on my TBR for awhile and I'm mad at myself for waiting so long to read it! Step brother- check, dark mafia- check, spicy- check, reverse harem- check! Stars 5/5, Spice 4/5

This is the first book in The blood ties series, and OMG!!! Such a great book hard to put it down it was such a complete constant page turner. I will warn you though it leaves you on a cliffhanger so get booked too if you're going to get book one if you're one of those people that just can't wait to find out what happens next.

I had high hopes for this book considering how I’m getting an ad for it every 5 minutes on social media. The storyline opened well with the protagonist experiencing a life altering event and then being exposed to challenging scenarios where any hope of character growth was quashed as she fell in love with her sexually abusive step-brothers and went through a plethora of sexual scenarios across town and in their home. If you’re going to write a book with content like this at the very least add some storyline. I felt like I wasted time reading this book and probably lost a few brain cells. Not an intelligent read, does not have any thought provoking story. Plain porn written on paper and published from what appears to be a home print or cheap factory print. There is a clear lack of proof-reading considering how many pages have been published with ‘to find out more, click here’ and to ‘pre-order your copy here’, clearly intended for links on an online platform that have been lazily added in the final book print. If you can get past the rapey porn, grammatical errors and poor printed and bound book, this is for you.

This book was exactly what I expected (look-wise). I have not yet read it, but am excited to.One corner was bent on the back of it, but not enough to upset me!

I’m not too far into the book, yet it is good and well written so I’ll continue reading. I’m not impressed that a page has literally already fallen out and I’m only on page 57. Makes my a bit skeptical about the next alternate cover books and their quality… pretty disappointing considering these covers are super pretty.
