Didn’t fail in the police academy
Bought for use while at the police academy and they worked great. Didn’t come lose and only popped off my socks once or twice during some serious PT smoke sessions when we ticked off the corporals. I went through the ringer several times with these and they held up great!

They work well, but a little uncomfortable, have a couple of tricks
I have had trouble with my shirt tails coming out for my entire life, and I hated it. So glad to find these. I am only in my first week, and they do take a little while to get used to. The first day, they left a red mark on the back of my leg. I have found two tricks. One, I wrapped some soft cloth around the metal on the straps, and taped it on, and now, the way I get the clips onto the back portion of my shirt is to put the shirt on a hanger and attach the clips so it is evenly attached front and back. Then, I put the shirt on, sit down and attach it to my socks. A little cumbersome, but once done, I'm set for the day, and there's no way that the shirt will come out. Still getting used to it but love my new look and confidence.
