I really like my records to look as nice as they can. I display about 40 of them with another 400 in my custom record cabinet. I've purchased albums with dull smoggy matte covers that actually make the records look worse than they are. But these make them look far better than they are! Seriously! So that is my #1 reason to recommend this product. Crystal clear covers that bring back some shine and luster to the artwork. You'll love it. But there's more.#2 - These are strong. I've read the reviews and I'm not sure what people are cramming in these cases. I've put in tri-fold double albums and other thick ones and they fit. This newer model than my last order actually has more room. So even 180 gram double gateway albums should have no problem fitting.#3 - The adhesive is not on the flap, it's on the back of the jacket. And it's long enough to cover every ultra-thick album I have and still seal.The only CON is that it has a long sealable flap. But is that a CON at all? Aren't you buying it so you can seal it up? If you don't like it, you can cut it off as another reviewer posted. But why would you simply not just buy something else? I will say that if you open up albums a lot that have been sealed in these jackets, you will get good at using one hand to hold the record while you juggle with these jackets, the inner sleeve for your records, and the case. My advice is to install the jacket so you can open the flap and access the record. I always use static free inner sleeves and once I wash my records, they never go back in the original jackets. That's my process and it works.So - 5 stars from me. I'm a repeat buyer and will come back again when I need another 100 more.

These outer sleeves are SUPER clear. SO clear that they make covers look even better, honestly. Much like how a shine top-coat makes any nail polish look better.I know some folks are saying these do not fix gatefolds or LPs with 2+ vinyls, but that is not my experience! In these photos, the folklore vinyl is a large gatefold with two (2) records, each in both an archival sleeve I added and the paper art sleeve they originally came in. The Sara Bareilles record is three (3) records, on 150g vinyl, each in both the archival and paper sleeves (like folklore). I have several other large or gatefold records - Hozier (self-titled), Suicide Squad, Paramore (self-titled), Annie OBC, for example - and all of them have fit in these sleeves just fine. Just have to be careful when inserting the record into the sleeve for the first time!Love that the adhesive is on the outside of the sleeve, instead of the flap, as it makes it way easier to get the records in without them sticking to the sleeve. The adhesive seems to be good quality and so far I have had no issues. And for the price, getting 100 of these bad boys is a GREAT deal! Highly recommend!

Super tidy and crystal clear. Seem to work fine for gatefolds and most doubles. A few of my big boys won't fit. Purchased these to keep the dust out, which is the leading cause of ring wear over time. Seal up nice. Replacing all my 4 mil open-sided opaque sleeves with these. Time will tell if the seams hold up over time, but these are working great for the price.Warning - do not let the adhesive strip come into contact with your album cover. Once it’s does, you cannot remove the sticky residue from the cover without ruining it.

I bought the former version of these sleeves a number of times, mainly because they were, until now, large enough to hold gatefold and double LPs. The recent batch, however, has shrunk. It is very difficult to fit a gatefold single, not to mention a double LP. Also, the flap has become shorter, so it is harder to seal when a gatefold album does fit.I will not buy these again, and I recommend you don't if you plan to fit anything larger than a ingle album in a sleeve.edit - and, they are poorly made, the seams break way more frequently than other sleeves I used.

I have been looking for these for 3 years. I’m a record collector and I buy/sell vinyls all the time. I have over 1300 records currently. I bought this brand 5 years ago through eBay. It was super awesome. After I ran out, I tried to find them but couldn’t since the seller on eBay disappeared. For the last 5 years, I bought 3 different packages, all of them sucked. I was super disappointed until I found this.It’s absolutely awesome! They are very thick, yet so clear that the cover art looks great. The adhesive is not on the flab which makes it easy to insert/remove the record. So far, they are the best. I highly recommend them.

Exactly what I needed, and far better than I expected! Unlike other reviewers, I haven't had any problems with seams splitting or tight fitting albums in the batch of 100 that I purchased. Double albums fit well, but 108G Double Albums might be too tight. I have several double albums that fit without any problems: Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," The Beatles White Album, Pink Floyd "The Wall" and even "Wings Over America" (3LPs but also thin 1970s pressings) fit well.The adhesive is sticky, but not too sticky to where you end up wrinkling and tearing the plastic trying to get them open. I will see how they hold up over time, but so far about a dozen openings/closings and they are still very good.The Crystal Clear plastic really makes your album covers look great!! Even dull/damaged covers look fresh in these sleeves. Now I can flip through my collection, read the covers and look at all the artwork without worrying about getting fingerprints on them. They also protect your record covers against the dreaded "ring wear" -- the impression of the record "worn" into the cover -- that plagues so many old albums.I'm very happy that I purchased these, and I highly recommend them!
