The plush coated GSD of nearly ten months really needs the brush vac thing that works ever so much better and sucks up all of the flyaways, but, in a pinch, these rakes will slide through that deep coat of his and pull off a lot of fur, and he likes the feeling.If you're not into buying the Oneisall dog vac, these rakes do a nice job!

Easy to hold and works very well. As a dog groomer, I use it almost daily. Only thing that would make it better is if it came in a full pink option!

I did get some hair out, not as much as I was hoping for, I'm not sure I would classify this as a De-shedding brush at least for my dog breed which is an Australian Shepherd.

This comb is very good for the topcoat and most mats on a Great Pyrenees. My pup is not fond of it, but does let me use it on her. She gets the undercoat longer teeth are needed on a different comb.

Works well enough but my dogs (huskies) don't tolerate it well. We have several orher types of brushes/de-shedding combs they prefer which is more efficient than something they don't!

It is definitely a good brush for my pet's hair, excellent purchase, it made my dog's old hair come out with ease.

I have used this tool on many dogs. It dies a great job of getting the undercoat out. Like it do much I have given it as gifts.

This brush does amazing with my mini Aussie. It's also a lot less pull on her fur then a regular brush so she let's me brush her longer then usual.

I have used undercoat rakes for years on my German Shepherd dogs and found them to be invaluable for the double coated dogs. My current German Shepherd is a Long Coat girl, as was my previous girl. When I saw this rake with the double row of 'pins', I just had to try one. It is the best investment for grooming my girl that I could have made. The double row of 'pins' seems almost magical for the job and is effortless to use. One of my friends called in one day while I was grooming my girl and asked to try it. She wanted to know where I bought it as she wanted one immediately. I sent her home to try it on her Long Coat Shepherd and she ordered immediately. I would say that it is a 'must' for anyone who owns a double coated dog. Brilliant.
