Perfect fit
This works perfectly in my Shark RV761. It was completely dead - with the new battery, it's back to cleaning and docking like when it was brand new.

[Teardown review.] Bought one so you don't have to buy any!
Let's start with the obvious: a new battery will run better than an old worn out one. But is saving a few bucks worth buying this one? Let's look what you get: - 30% less capacity. The Shark OEM battery is 2900mAh, and while this one says "2600mah" they actually use 2000mAh cells. - Off brand components. Shark suppliers build packs with LG Chem name brand highest quality cells. This one is made with unbranded batteries HH INR18650. (Update, it's cells made by Henan Haihong Technology Co. Ltd of Wolong district in Nanyang, China)- Missing multiple important safety elements. There is no thermal protection circuitry to prevent overheating and potential fire in your home. There is no PCB coating to protect from moisture that even in small amounts can corrode sensitive control electronics, and again, prevent fire in your home from malfunction. - Simpler control circuitry. The PCB is "Bakth" branded and uses largerand less efficient MOSFETS.- Build quality is subpar. The OEM battery had double wrap, double end caps, SMD cutouts to protect sensitive electronic from mechanical impact, separate balance leads in thermal sheathing. The differences go on and on. Bottom line: while you get what you pay for, it's an avid reminder that there are no safety standards in our country that are preventing penny pinching to become home insurance claims.

Hold charge for a long time.
It took forever to fully charge…like days…but now it’s all good & holds the charge forever!

The battery came with a charge already!

Barely lasted 6 months before failing to hold a charge.
I have a Shark IQ Robot vac that I purchased in 2020. Until a little over a year ago I loved it…but then it quit returning to the dock to recharge. Or more accurately it would lose charge before finding its way home. I purchased this replacement battery and for about 6 months it worked (most of the time). Then it began dying mid-cycle again. I would manually put it on the charger and only about half the time would it recognize and charge. Many mornings after charging all night it would fail to start a cleaning and be dead. I would cycle the power off and then back on and it would show it was connected and charging but be dead the next time I checked on it. I have since purchased a different brand to replace THIS battery and robot is functioning as expected. I would not recommend or rebuy this battery due to its very short lifespan and unpredictable ability to charge.

My shark finally works again!
I am so glad that I did not buy another vacuum. I decided to try and replace the battery and found that they are over double on the shark website. I purchased this one in hopes that it would solve my problem. It did and I am so thankful I purchased this item. The battery was so easy to install and now my vacuum runs for the full time and not just 5 minutes.
