Feels great, but not reusable
I like the feel of it and it's easy to customize because you can choose if you want ridges or to wrap it or none. I went for the rubber and it's softer and thin so it feels like almost fabric/rubber mixed. For the rubber and fabric grips, you need a heat gun to install. If you don't have access to a heat gun, order the hole grip. It was really easy to install though. I thought I left too much space at the top but once I pat it down with an oven mitt, it turned out ok. I do wish it was reusable, like buttendz, so you need to know if you want to cut it before you install this otherwise you'll end up wasting it. Good price though.

Need a heat gun
I got the rubber grip style replacement grip for my stick to replace the cloth wrap job I had on the stick which wore a hole in my gloves over time.In the package: I got the rubber grip, a foam strip, and 4 rubber rings - 1 big, 3 smaller. The rings or foam can be used to customize your grip. I went with the fat ring for a lip at the top and the foam strip to create a raised spiral.Installation: The package had a QR code to scan that took me to an instruction video. I was glad I watched that first because I learned that I couldn't use the boiling water method and would need to use a heat gun. The ring was quite simple to put on at the top and the foam tape has double sided tape on it, so you simply remove the paper and that made it very easy to then attach it to the stick. I was lucky I had a heat gun because I had intended to use the boiling water method to shrink the grip in place. Only the hole grips can be installed with the water. A big gotcha if you don't have a heat gun. The instructions caution you to stay about 4.5 inches away with the heat gun, but I don't know if mine is super underpowered, but I had to get 1 cm away for it to start working. The instructions recommend 1 cm of extra at the top above the stick end to allow it to wrap over and hold the top ring in place. I found that it really didn't want to completely shrink shut at the top. I eventually warmed up the top really well and then used the vinyl kitchen floor to force it flat. While it was still cooling down, but not too hot to touch, I used my hands to make sure the grip was really shrunk into each bump and groove on the grip. It took about 15 minutes start to finish to apply the grip to my stick.Pros: It looks great and I love the feel. It wasn't particularly difficult to apply it to my stick.Cons: It's not reusable. You will need to own a heat gun to put it on.Overall, it looks great and I hope that it will not wear a hole in my gloves over time like my previous cloth wrap did. I don't like that it's not reusable like some other similar grips I've seen on the market.

Grip feels nice, but tears up your gloves just like tape.
Over the years I went away from taping the top of my stick. The "grip" application that the manufacturer's are using has been good enough for me, and has not torn my gloves up at all. I throw a little tape at the butt end to keep that on and mark the end so I know where it is, and I'm good to go. I "heard" these grips were nice and don't tear up gloves so I wanted to give them a shot.Very simply, my newest stick is back to the butt end tape only. The grip is not bad and not too hard to install, but it has definitely torn up my gloves. I had no tears in my gloves before this grip, but in a few months of usage I have nearly non-existent palms on my gloves. The feel of the grip is nice, but it doesn't seem any different or better than the standard grip treatment from the manufacture. I will say that will clearly outlast the tape, mine still looks good with a lot of use. That does make them a good value if you need tape or this.

Perfect for Travel Hockey
My 12U son loves this grip. It was extremely easy to put on his stick and it looks awesome. I used a heat gun to put on the grip instead of hot water. I have noticed that since we replaced the grip from the standard tape, his gloves are lasting a lot longer. The grip is also easier to spot when the whole teams sticks are piled together. This makes it way easier to grab his stick when needed.

No noticeable added benefit above and beyond hockey tape
Easy enough to put on. Similar look and feel to tape. Biggest selling factor is less wear and tear on my gloves. Not sure it's worth the cost of the grip considering my gloves last through more than half a dozen sticks and this grip is kaput with the stick. Not going to spend the cost of half a new pair of gloves to potentially, not proven yet, save on the current pair. I'll stick with tape in the future.
