Within the first few uses the blade alignment is skewed. It's supposed to cut a slightly larger branch, my angle pruners and anvil pruners 1/2 in do a better job. I'd return them if I could.

We have a dog that is overweight and we are trying to cut back treats, have tried several tools to cut in half or thirds, this would not go through the treat and only came with 1 blade.

I used the cutters to cut through a pizzle stick treat for my dog. The blade now rests at an angle and will not cut through anything. They're now absolutely useless. On April 25, vendor seemed to be attentive and offered to send me coupon to order another at no cost. I'm still waiting and at this point, I guess that 's not going to happen.

Although they are heavy duty they struggle to cut. The mouth opening is not wide enough to be able to fit anything very large into the scissors and it takes two hands to cut through many things. Better alternatives are out there.

I have no expectation these scissors will last very long. The plastic anvil slide and locking button don't have a "solid" feel. You have to pry off the end cap of handle to access the blades - they were coated with oil but had still rusted. Arrived in bubble wrapped packaging without any instructions. Had to go to purchasing page to read the features and how to use the tool. I recommend look for a different product and maybe one made in the USA.

Every piece of metal was rusted upon delivery, including the replacement blades that it came with and the plastic locking mechanism was snapped as well.
