Good trilogy
Amazing how many stories end up as trilogys any more. This one has the standard elf, dwarf, human, magic user and fae folk. This is a lead in to The Keeper Chronicles which are an excellent read, set ages in the future but same area and amazingly some of the same people.Just how old is Flibbit? Just what is his cart? Magical of course. The "end" of the unicorn was disappointing, I wanted him to do something more than be a lawnmower. And its interesting just how very similar Viviane and Sable were yet the reader roots for Sable and boos Viviane. Both wanted initially to make things "better " which is subjective to begin with. Both used their "magic" and that of those around them to influence their followers. Both wanted the power & station to make a world that fit their vision of what was right. Sable won & became Queen.Sable was just as controlling of her sisters as Viv was of her Mira until they broke free from it.Very interesting and intricate characters and plot.Flibbit was my favorite as he reminded me a bit of TH White's Merlyn in the Sword in the Stone tales. Sort of bumbling but its all an act and very very old in human years.Good read with only a few parts that dragged & almost no typos!🔥🏰 👑🐲

This is a saga so full of angst, and hope, and tears, and joy. There's no way I can describe it!
1) Dragon's ReachI prolly wouldn't have continued listening to the book if it hadn't been narrated by Kate Reading. With her mesmerizing voice performance I believe her tale as she magic'd me right into Sable's world and I continued to listen as JA Andrews words flowed out. And by the time I got to the end found that I wasn't able to stop as I needed more.I love posting quotes that amuse me:"If you’re called away in the middle of the night it seems best to hurry."“Amah’s shiny bum! That’s amazing!”2) Raven's RuinWow again Kate Reading along with JA Andrews words magic'd me right back into Sable's world. With so much fire 🔥 and magic how could I not love Raven's Ruin in this fantastic trilogy. And my quote for bk2 is:“You’re taking me on a trip out of the Sanctuary,” Pixy said. “I’ll get a message to the moon if you want it.”3) Phoenix RisingThis was such a mesmerizing saga. A tale so full of angst, and hope, and tears, and happiness. It just so full, I can't even begin to describe it without spoilers. Just be assured that Dragons, and Phoenix' fly high in this book along with some very tricky politics to skate past and Humans, Dwarves, Elves and maybe some Kobalds hafta choose sides. Here's the quotes I found to share with you:"He caught her eye. “I have an idea.” “If you’re talking about the same idea I just had,” she said, “it’s a bad one. You could barely walk across the room with my help.”“Brilliant ideas like that are why we keep her around,” Leonis said to Thulan. “Avoid dragon fire…” Thulan patted her vest as though searching for something. “If only I had something to write such sage advice down on.”

Amazing!
I really enjoyed this trilogy. It was so fun to stay in one point of view for this whole epic tale. Most stories like this rely on multiple points of view, but Sable kept my interest the whole time. It was truly like I was Sable. The glimpses of intriguing comments at the beginnings of acts were really fun and worked so well. The supporting characters were truly realistic and nuanced. The good and bad characters were not entirely either. Surprises abounded but we're definitely realistic. The magic was cool. This is probably my favorite trilogy of the whole year thus far (end of August) and I read several books a week.

The marvelous world of the imagination
If my daughter had not read this very complete trilogy and told me about it I certainly would have missed an amazing and absorbing story.

What a gem!!
Such a wide breadth of developed characters with a twist and turns!! Sable’s journey from dockside the north was not an easy one, she managed with a unique group of friends J.A.Andrews managed to weave a story that seamlessly included humans, elves, dwarves, a phoenix, a universe, and a dragon!?

Artfully written wonderful trilogy
I appreciate the gift you were given and your willingness to share your imagination. I have been reading fantasy adventure for over 45 years. It has been a long time since I read a work of art such as this trilogy. Thank you for the love and time you have poured into these books. I have smiled, giggled and cried through this adventure and look forward to reading the rest of your books

Really excellent
I do not often get the pleasure of finding a modern sword and sorc noblebright fantasy that I also consider good enough to be a work of literature. This may just qualify. The world feels lush and lived in. The prose is well-written, not overly wordy, and generally smooth to read. The pacing is well timed and held my interest — I devoured all three books in two days. Good and evil are clearly defined, but characters have a complex mix of both in their motives and actions. I don’t recall a single swear word or anything sensual beyond a character being described as wearing a low cut dress.Beyond all that, I found the story compelling, bewitching, even. Sable is a self-sacrificing and humble heroine who is utterly relatable and lovable even in her moments of flaws and doubts and weakness. Reese is manly and courageous while also being too quick to grumble or get angry, and a good foible for the leading lady. The entire cast of secondary characters were such vivid and three-dimensional personalities that they never felt like wasted space, and despite the ever-increasing number of them, I was never confused because they were all distinct and lovingly crafted people.I highly recommend this trilogy. So much so I won’t even attempt any spoilers.
