OspreyHydraulics Quick Connection Kit for Water Reservoir

I like to modify my own gear. These connectors are quality and relatively affordable. They fit other brand quick connectors like MSR and Gregory as well. There are not a lot of options out there so to find one that is inexpensive and available is a good thing.

The company Dometic sells a water jug that has a connection point for a hydration kit. They sell an overpriced usb faucet attachment for the jug that uses this style connector on the top of the jug. Instead of buying their overpriced faucet I got a cheap USB faucet and this kit to attach to the hose from the faucet and it works great to connect to the jug. Probably more than I needed in this kit but it's hard to find this adapter and now I have an extra.

This was an outstanding solution to connect your water filter to a water bladder. Made filling up the water bladder very easy since it's a direct connect and you don't have to worry about opening the water bladder spilling water or the hassle of filling it up. The tube connects directly to your water filter and then directly to the osprey water bladder and that's all you need. Great solution highly recommended!

We needed this quick release for our bladders when kayaking! Super easy to install and detach when switching out bladders on the river!

I used this to make a water bottle drinking system for backpacking. Works great- no leaks, and easy to disconnect. Pleased with purchase.

The hose is way smaller than what you can see on the picture and the video. If you only need the gray pieces, it does the job but if you also needed a normal-size hose, you’ll need to purchase one separately. Also I didn’t find the system easy to place in a new hose.

As you can see from my photo, the product that ships has a shorter tube than the one pictured.
