I have only been using this product for about 1 and 1/2 months, so I cannot speak to its long-term effects. My main concern when purchasing supplements like this is safety. This is a product of Canada, so I feel more confident that it is safe.This product is very easy to keep in a kitchen cabinet and add to beverages. I typically sprinkle it into a cup of tea in the late afternoon when I am relaxing with a book. On its own, it definitely has a minty flavor. In tea, I cannot taste it at all. The dosage is about 20 drops, and the bottle seems to be lasting a very long time!My main reason for purchasing this was because I went on a trip to Eastern Europe last week and wanted to make sure that my digestive tract was well prepared for eating a new type of diet in Hungary and the Czech Republic. I had no problems at all during my vacation, which I am not sure is attributable to this product, but it certainly has not hurt my gastrointestinal system that I can detect.If you are looking for a nice tasting herbal supplement to address intestinal concerns, I can recommend this as being gentle and having a very nice taste when stirred into a beverage

I’ve tried numerous supplements for digestive issues, and haven’t been able to find one that really helps.I was excited to see such a great blend of ingredients in this liquid tincture, as gummies and liquid supplements work better for me.This IBShield tincture has a very pleasant peppermint taste. I add the drops to a tiny bit of water, then drink a little more water to wash it down, before meals. I have had a little less abdominal pain and bloating since I started taking it. I’m hoping if I keep taking it regularly, my pain will continue to decrease.I do wish that it came with a dropper, because it’s hard to control how fast the drops come out. It’s not a big deal as I’m able to get very close to the right amount each time. I recommend this supplement to anyone who suffers with digestive issues.

I've used similar products from other brands in the past with good results, so was happy to try this one too. This is the only one I've had in liquid form though. I wasn't sure what to expect as far as taste, but it's honestly not bad at all. I can take a whole "dose" of 20 drops from a spoon by itself with no problems. I prefer to that then wash it down rather than put the drops directly into liquid or food. The taste is sweet and minty, sort of like a breath mint. I'm guessing it's the peppermint oil that contributes to most of the flavor. I've only been using it for a few days now, but so far I've seen no bad side effects after switching from another brand. I wish they would have included a little dropper or something though, it's difficult to accurately measure out the recommended 20 drops. It's a glass bottle so you can't squeeze it, and have to shake it to get the drops to come out.

Just got this after waiting over a week for it to be delivered. Was disappointed to see potassium sorbate on the ingredient list, as it’s not a good chemical for the gut. Am forced to try this as it seems Amazon does not sell iberogast anymore, which was really helpful!

It lists the same ingredients as iberogast but definitely different. My stomach is not as calm as it was on Iberogast and the taste is also slightly different. I actually prefer the taste of Iberogast much better.

While the box/ label looks very medicinal, this is pleasantly herbal( I did read ingredients before ordering), and it tastes nicely of light Peppermint so mixes well in drinks. Nor over -powering.My stomach lining gets inflamed at times due to some past surgery. Plus I just have a bit of a senitive digestive system and her indigestion a lot. I live with a bottle of chilled Pepto- Bysmal in fridge-- truth! This is a nice change because of its herbal soothing. It's another go- to for stomach irritation.I am careful with any medicine or effects of stuff I take OTC because you never really know what any of that stuff may do, longterm or even short term. These are safe herbals. Read the ingredients. I'm very pleasantly surprised and happy with this. It seems to be marketed toward Irritable Bowel Syndrome, some up -and -coming affliction. Not even sure what that is. I just know it soothes naturally.

I got this larger (3.38 fl oz) bottle of drops to promote good gut health. I like that they are composed of herbal ingredients that are easy on the digestion. These contain many things I know and like, including chamomile, candytuft, angelica, caraway, celandine, licorice, lemon balm, thistle and peppermint. Nice.These drops come in quality glass bottle, and my one quibble is that that top has a plastic insert that lets out a drop at a time (presumably into a glass of water). I prefer a dropper so I can get a dropperful at a time, especially since the serving size is 20 drops. But it’s a quality product and no stars off for that.
