Dew-Not Dew Heater Strip - 9" Length # DN03

I was supposed to have gotten it 2 days ago. Sure could have used it tonight. The 2 dew straps I did receive work really well. 5 stars on the 2 I have, I'm sure this will be also.

A great and useful telescope accessory. They do an absolutely perfect job of keeping the optics a few degrees above the dew point. Therefore, even on the most humid of summer nights, they keep everything dew free and dry. Highly recommend these.

This dew heater strip arrived quickly with very reasonable shipping cost (I paid [...] but now I see they are shipping free). I already had another brand controller and 2 other sizes of strips which I paid a lot more for. Because of the very low heat these put out it is hard to tell if they are working but since I have had no dew problems it must be working. This brand is much more reasonably priced than any of the other brands and seems to do what it is supposed to so I rate it as a "great value". I don't know how the wattage and amps compare to others but as long as it works, who cares. I will say that I use it in conjunction with a dew shield. I would certainly buy this brand again if I should need any other sizes. I'M SOLD!

This dew heater was purchased by mistake. As I was speaking with the seller rep I decided to keep it & use it for my guide camera. Thanks to that gentleman. I just recently purchased a 2nd heater for my main tube. Because of the great customer service & chat about SC years ago as a young Marine. A Win-Win Situation. 5 Stars earned is 5 Stars deserved. Great device to heat camera lenses to prevent condensation when the dew point gets close to outside temperature. I paired this with a large battery, created my own connector and it does the trick and for hours so. If I could have two minor changes, I would wish that it got a tad hotter and uses a standard plug that fits common battery types.

I use this lens warmer on those cold late night Milky Way picture taking sessions. Never had a lens fog up while using this warmer. At 12 volts this warmer pulls about 350mA so run time with my custom battery (16 AA Ni-MH 2.4KmA/Hour and a 12 volt regulator) box is about 6 hours. Current draw was less than expected. Warming capacity more than expected.

I built my own Dew Controller and I purchased this Dew Heater Strip for my Celestron NexStar 6SE. Works like a charm.
