Hellmann's Vegan Mayonnaise without any artificial colours or flavours condiment suitable for vegans 6x 475 g

I like that each of the 475g x 6 jars are great value. The taste is very good. I have been using Hellmans Vegan Mayonnaise for a few years and have never been disappointed. These arrived the following day via Amazon Prime. Securely wrapped, no breakages. A Good Use By Date on these jars is 01/02/25.

Hellmann's has truly exceeded my expectations. I am not a vegan, but this Mayo is better than the original one with eggs. First of all, the fact that it is made without any artificial colours or flavours is a huge plus for me. I feel good about using this condiment knowing that it is free from any added chemicals. And the taste, it's spot on. It has that perfect balance of tanginess and creaminess that I look for in a mayo. I've used it in sandwiches, salads, and even as a dip for fries, and it has never disappointed. The 6x 475 g pack is also a great value for money, making it a must-have in my kitchen.

I'm not a vegan but I got the chance to try these so I thought why not.The jars are sealed with the usual pop up top. Mine didn't pop up much but you could tell it had been opened for the first time.The label claims "Same great taste" and I think they are more or less right.Opening the jar you instantly get the classic smell of mayonnaise plus the look is the same as standard mayonnaise. The thickness, texture and mouth feel are also all the same as standard mayonnaise. When tasting it on it's own it initially tastes exactly the same as mayonnaise but shortly afterwards there is a slight aftertaste, not terrible but noticeable. When I put it on a sandwich I couldn't taste the aftertaste at all and it was just like standard mayo.Nutritionally it is very similar to standard mayo for the basic macros but with higher salt, it not sure if they do a lower fat version.The shelf life was about 6 months from when I received them which isn't bad for mayonnaise but given the bulk purchase have a think if you'll get through 6 of them in time, maybe a good item to split with someone.Overall I was pleasantly surprised by this and is essentially the same as standard mayo.

I've bought this excellent product many times before, but this is my first time from Amazon.The order never turned up (marked undeliverable), and I have not been refunded. Please arrange a refund asap. Very disappointing service!

I compared this mayo directly to the "real mayo" from this brand in a tuna sandwich and with chips, I was very surprised when I first smelt it and it smells exactly the same as real mayo. Initially when tasting it they are just about identical, the only difference I noticed was the aftertaste which wasn't great, in fact I'd go as far as to say the aftertaste is bad.It definitely comes close to real mayo and is a really convincing alternative, once you get used to the aftertaste it is probably just as good!The jars I got expire 6 months after arriving and I'll likely not get through all of them by then so will take the rest to a food bank, it'd be great if this mayo had a longer shelf life but if that means a worse flavour I'd prefer it as is.
