Great product! Only downside is we cant get our knife sharpener in as the back slot will only for scissors or that. But thats easily fixed by popping in the draw!Its great holds all our knives and has room for more if we wish to have more!

Holds sevetal knives, compact, sturdy, nice lookng. A useful addition to my kitchen.

Unfortunately, coming from China, it was not sturdy enough to survive the journey! The first thing I had to do when it arrived was glue the bottom back on! I could see where the glue had been, but obviously there was not enough of it in the manufacturing process. A bit of Gorilla glue sorted the problem and it's been in use ever since. However, I'm not sure the first thing I should do on receiving a new item is to repair it! Should I have returned it? Back to China? Probably. But it was to be fair an easy fix, and it's worked perfectly ever since.

I am generally very pleased with the knife block as it is neat and tidy on the workshop and ideal for knives bought without a block but I think it could be a little heavier. If you sort of stretch to grab a knife one handed whilst preparing food the block comes with you because the fit is so tight.If the base was heavier it might be better. If possible of course - I am not a designer.

This was ordered as a Christmas present. I ordered it on a Thursday evening and it arrived the next day!It seemed to be exactly as described and the people I bought it for were delighted - they sent me a photo of it 'in situ' with several knives stored in place. Their photo caption was 'it's perfect'.Can't do better that - i would definitely buy from this company again

I bought this item initially because I have changed my kitchen and my wooden knife block didn't go with the look that I now have and I didn't want one of the magnetic type that are available. It really is an excellent holder for knives as it looks stylish , holds in my case five large very sharp knives safely without scratching the steel . Due to its shape it takes up less space than my previous knife block on the work surface so in my opinion an excellent addition to your kitchen.
