It's a little piece of metal with some holes in it. The product I received was indeed made of metal and the manufacturer had successfully drilled some holes. The threaded bit and the included hardware were correctly sized and threaded. Mirrors haven't fallen off yet. They're not fancy, not etched with a badass logo, they don't connect to my wifi, they're just supposed hold my mirrors in place for a reasonably lower price point. I call it mission accomplished.

I will call this a preliminary review since I only received them today and went for a short 40 mile ride. So far so great! I was getting buffeting on my 2019 650 v-strom. I thought it was the windshield but after closer examination I realized it was coming from the mirrors.In addition .. I am somewhat of a broad shouldered individual and half the mirror was occupied by me.The extensions solved both issues. I can now see clearly for miles behind me and buffeting is gone.These particular extensions fit the bike perfectly and are really sharp looking. I used a little blue loctite and everything went together quickly and solidly.They reach up over the controls on the bars and are in no way in the way of any of my switches. I love when you can get something at a good cost and it looks and works well!!Note to V-strom riders .. my bike came with a cinch bolt at the levers ... it is this bolt that needs to get attached to the extensions not the mirror directly.

Mounted on 2019 Honda CB1000R. The mirror extender is extremely useful. You can see behind you much better. It could be longer, but you have to draw the line somewhere. The CB1000R has an adapter for the mirrors. It is right hand thread on the bottom and left hand thread on the mirror stalk. You can use this extender. Remove the adapter and install the extender to the handlebar with the right hand thread bolt provided. Move the adapter to the extended position and screw it into the right hand threads. Thread the mirror stalk into the left hand threads of the adapter. The is the same for both sides. The adapter acts just like a turnbuckle used to tighten or loosen tension on a rope. You can hold the mirror in position and tighter down the adapter. Not the only way to do it, just an option. I had a similar unit delivered to the wrong address. After contacting the company they tracked it down, admitted that it was delivered to the wrong address (next day) and immediately shipped me out another one. DHL tracking is just as good as Amazon's. So, great customer service! The mirrors held in place just fine, but since I bought some blue Locktite thread lock, I put it on after my test ride anyway.

The only problem that i have is one bolt doesnt fit the tread because the right side mirror is lefthand tight. but it was clearly stated on the description that it is righthand tread so it was my fault.

Very nice! Now my mirrors extend out far enough (but not too far) that my rear view is not blocked by reflections of my elbows.A few positive details not discernible from the product listing: The 10mm socket cap screws are actually stainless steel meaning that water trapped by the screw head will not rust the screw. Also, the slot in the center of the extenders is all the way through each extender so no water will be trapped there as well.Because on many motorcycles three different metals will be joined (aluminum in the extenders, stainless steel in the socket cap screws, and steel in the mirror arms) it is a good idea to use a drop of a product such as Loctite Threadlocker Blue on each of the threaded surfaces. The Loctite will help prevent galling of the dissimilar metals as well as secure the mirrors.Although the extenders were posted from China, I received my pair in just nine days.A great upgrade for motorcycles, reasonably priced and easy to install.

Easy to install, took about 5 minutes. I did add some medium blue thread locking compound to make sure they didn’t vibrate loose. They were installed on a Honda C125 SuperCub and a Z125Monkey. They made the previously mostly useless mirrors useful. We were only able to take a quick test ride, but it was a vast improvement to see traffic behind instead of just shoulders and elbows. The included hardware was good quality stainless steel hex socket bolt. I was a little concerned from looking at the description photos that the cutout would hold water or dirt. I was happy to see the cutout went all the way through. They seem nicely machined. I’m glad I bought these for less than half price of the motorcycle shop version.
