brightness is perfect
my turtle doesn't like bright light, so this is perfect for him. can't comment on the longevity because I just got it a couple of weeks ago, but so far very happy.

It works great! The light is supposed to simulate rays from the sun and promote healthy bodily function in amphibians/ reptiles.

Good UV light when you don't want heat too
This is a nice UV light that doesn't get hot and is ideal when you have a separate heat source for you reptile (or you just don't need one). I tested it with a UV card, and it works as expected.

Great UVB
This is the 7th UVB light that I have held a UVB test card under in the last 2 weeks. This light tested the best of all of them by far. It beat out halogens and florescent. To my eye (we cant see UV) the light is not very bright, but to a UVB test card - bam definitely good UVB action happening.

Small size bulb
Perfect for nano sized light domes, the light it gives off seems decent, unknown oh much uvb output and at what distance unfortunately
