Pain Medicine Board Review

This was my main review book for my Pain Boards recertification. Used other resources to "fill in the gaps" on topics that I was not familiar with, but overall had pretty good information. There were a few errors on listed multiple choice answers (wrong letters) but answer explanations made it clear what the correct answer would be. I passed my recertification so I'll recommend this book

Pretty sure there are a few errors in stated correct answers. Answer for distance between proximal and distal NCV locations was stated to be 5 mm—not cms. It’s early in my use of book. More helpful than not so far.

Studying for the Pain Boards this year (re certification). Using this book with the text as well as Dannemiller. The text is otherwise dry. However, this book of questions provides a good summary.

I'm currently studying for the pain boards and this book has been a nice resource in addition to the Dannemiller review lectures. Very thoughtful questions with clear and succinct explanations. Definitely recommend current and future fellows to use during fellowship.

Not bad as a review guide. Sketchy on some topics, such as the chapter on headaches. I must admit that I was a little disappointed.....I thought that this board review book would be more comprehensive in terms of the number of questions and their explanations as referenced to the 5th edition textbook.

I like the fact that it covers a comprehensive list of topics in a question/answer format to prepare for Pain boards. Nice summary of explanations to each question.

Great book! Explanations are very well written as well as thorough and even includes some helpful images. A must have for board prep and is also a great resource to use throughout fellowship. Highly recommend.

Well organized and well written. Excellent for intended purpose as a board review resource; not meant to replace primary textbook.
