Decent little rod
It's a good budget rod. Son uses it for bluegills, sunnys, crappie, etc. We prefer the 6'6 ultralight (if you can find it). Paired with a cheap 2500 size reel with 6-8 lbs mono

Great Deal!
Very comfortable to hold and reel in catch. Paired with Plusinno spinning reel and braided line- perfect! The total cost was under$100.

Laguna 6'6" spin rod
Excellent rod. Plent of feel for those small bits and backbone their when needed. Feels and acts like a far more expensive rod. great value.

Switch back to the single piece eyes.
This was a five star for me until they started using the eyes with the plastic insert. The inserts like to pop out over time. I switched to buying these over Walmart,'s $20 sturdy stick because of the one piece eyes. So I was disappointed to see that my last order came with the crappy eyes. Also, I buy 10 to 20 at a time. When I used to order them they would come in individual packages thus would be in great shape. My last order came a dozen to a box thus beating them all up. most the tips were bent or broken. I guess now I will have to order them one at a time in order to get them in one piece.WAS a happy customer

Gone Fishing!
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the this pole based on the low cost. Caught a some keeper size fluke and Black sea bass with it and it performed great. It is stiff and strong but you can still feel the bite.

Great rod
Light feel, good grip and like the hook keeper. Great rod for the price & going to buy the bait cast version.

Fragile warning! Others have posted the same, and I experienced it myself
I went out fishing with a buddy today - good thing I brought 2 rods. I hooked up on a nice bass, turned out to be 2.5 lbs, but as I tried to get it up over the grass on the bank the rod snapped right under the 4th eyelet, spewing the string that held the eyelet, and maybe the whole rod together at that point. The struggle was real at that point since I then had to pull in the fish while managing the broken portion of the rod dangling on the line. The rig was dialed in, the fish were biting, and here I was cursing this rod scaring all the other fish away. 2 more hours of no bites after that on the other rod. Going to stay away from Daiwa Laguna cheap stuff going forward.

Good quality for the buck!
Good quality, budget priced, saltwater boat rod. Used it frequently this past summer for mackerel, pollock and cod inshore saltwater fishing off Nova Scotia. Good backbone for two to twenty pound fish. A little stiff for smaller Mackerel one at a time. But great for multi hook rigs.

Daiwa la mejor marca calidad-precio
La caña es hermosa, ligera y de calidad tiene muy buenos acabados excelente para spinning ligero de mar, me gusta que es rígida en el lance y se dobla muy bien en la pelea con el pez
