This blanket is SO nice. Feels very plush and luxe, the color is a stunning deep blue, and it has not pilled in any way after a few months of use. I do wash it on delicate and hang dry which can take much longer, so cannot speak to how it would fare in a dryer.The blanket is a perfect thickness, it definitely keeps you warm and cozy. They named this appropriately; if you don't feel strongly tempted to take a nap or fall asleep with this, I don't know a better blanket that would work.Lovely blanket from Brookstone, and would highly recommend!

I’m pleased with how plush and relaxing this blanket turned out to be. It’s been very useful as a throw blanket on my living room couch. I wouldn’t say the blanket is any more heavy/dense than any other throw blanket, so I’m not sure why that is a part of the title claim. It’s certainly not a weighted blanket.The blanket is a tad bit pricey but given the brand name and comfort quality, I think it’s worth the price. It’d make a great gift for others or for yourself!

I ordered this blanket for my husband to use while sitting at his gaming desk, and it is the softest, most cuddly blanket in our house.The blanket is a throw size, so it's perfect for sitting on the couch with, or cuddling up in a chair to drink coffee and/or read a book or watch TV.The blanket is very plush, and seems very well-made, so I'm hoping this lasts through the wash when the time comes. Since I've not had to wash it yet, I can't provide input on how it will hold up over time.This is a really great blanket so far, albeit rather expensive, so hopefully it will also last a while.

This throw feels luxurious. Different textures on each side. Light weighted for comfort and warmth. Love the size...most throws are only 50x60 leaving most lacking about 2-6" for full coverage when relaxing on a couch or loveseat. This 60x70 is perfect for full coverage. My only concern, for now, is the massive lint shedding from the 'fuzzy' side. However, I'm confident if you wash and dry this once/twice before using, most of that will subside. Other than than, this is a Cozy beyond Cozy throw sure to snuggle with for a flash nap, expecially on chilly days or if the A/C is lowered. The absolutely beautiful blue color is amazing. Be sure to wash separately from all other laundry to ensure no color bleed or lint transfer until such time that all that has been rid. This throw is my new snuggle cuddle throw for when I don't feel well, I'm chilled or simply want an afternoon nap. Comfy Comfy Comfy...You should really make it yours as well.

As a person of height, I find the typical sized lap blankets too short. But this baby… oh yeah! It’s perfect. Now, let’s talk about the elephant in the room, the price ($35 at the time of review): why would you want to buy this when there are other throws selling on Amazon for 1/3 the price? This is easily the most premium quality fleece blanket or throw I’ve tried. As expected, it’s quite soft and silky, but what really surprised me is that it’s quite heavy—probably because of how thick thick and dense the fabric is. So to answer the question, I think it’s worth it if you are looking to treat yourself to a luxurious indulgence or looking for a really nice gift.[Disclosure: I received this product for free. I always wanted to try a Brookstone blanket. We all love a good soft & fuzzy throw. This blanket is both of those things and more. It's fuzzy and also very silky feeling. It's slightly oversized so it's perfect to wrap up in. We will definitely buy another Brookstone Blanket in the future. Highly Recommended.
