These Amazon Basics emergency tools feel incredibly sturdy and well-built right out of the box. The weight is reassuring without being bulky, and both the blade and hammer ends look up to the task should the worst ever happen.I bought this 2-pack to keep one in each car, and it’s great knowing we’re a bit more prepared in case of an emergency. Thankfully, I haven’t had to use them—and I sincerely hope I never do—but it’s comforting to know they’re there if needed.Excellent quality for the price and a smart bit of kit to have just in case.

excellent and really cheap considering how useful they could become. Hopefully they are never needed but these are stored one in each car just in case. You've got a wind screen hammer and the seatbelt cutter on the other end. The quality is perfect. These could save a life one day!

Good quality item for a budget price, quite surprised, have tested and both the cutter and hammer glass break performed well. A must have. 2 pieces for this price. I store one in car and one in boot. Great peace of mind.

You hope you will never have to use it, but if you save yourself, your family, or the life of a stranger trapped in a car, you will be glad you bought it.A solid bit of kit, and a bargain at £5.99 for two.Think about it, then order it for your car.Most people carry a first aid kit, warning triangle, hi-vis, torch etc. This little bit of kit is in my view, just as important.

It appears to be exactly what would be needed if I ever found myself trapped inside my van and dunked in very deep water … hopefully I’ll never find out!!

The items felt sturdy and, having used the hammer on a piece of glass, can testify that it would very likely be enough to break a car window, if needed to. The item is small enough to fit in the door panel of my friends car, who it was bought for, so hopefully easy enough to reach, should the need arise.
