Quality little device, well made, just did not like working with my old Windows 10 device.
Handy little adapter, with a number of connection possibilities, in my case having an older computer, there is no built in blue tooth connection, I was hoping to add the ability to connect with Bluetooth 5.4.This adapter is basically a USB A looking plug unit with a large Ariel attached, so not very discrete. I found on my Windows 10 PC that the driver would run for a few seconds then come up with an error, which I could not overcome, so could not test it effectively on this machine.Tried it on my daughter’s Surface laptop and it worked fine, installing and connecting to my headset without issue and producing effective performance. A good way of extending the range on Bluetooth connected devices. The range is not tested very much in my application, being basically static on a PC; I understand being Bluetooth 5.4 it should have an effective range of about 492ft (in clear space)Quality little device, well made, just did not like working with my old Windows 10 device.

Pairs fast and works excellent w. the right driver for Windows 10 (64)
The range is v. good but not any greater than other similar "long range" adapters. Chip inside is from Realtek and that it the driver needed.Follow the tiny instruction booklet attached to remove all other BT transmitters in Device Manager before plugging in the new one.In my case, upon plugging the new transmitter, Win10 installed some generic driver instantly but it wasn't pairing with any BT devices.Search in google the following line:Realtek Bluetooth Version: 1.9.1038.3017 *.inf file: rtkfilter.infI downloaded it from drvhub. Extract the zipped content to a folder and then in Device Manager click on update driver of "Generic BT Adapter." Point Windows to the folder with decompressed driver files. It will install the driver and recognize the BT adapter as Realtek. Then all works great!

For a laptop that would not get BT to work.
Bought a used HP laptop from Amazon. Looks new, battery is OK, WiFi downloads of 530 mb, but no BT working. Wrote to company, they sent a YouTube link on things to try.. nope.I think this was $8 or something. Plug it in, 45 seconds later I have a BT Icon, I tell it to find device. My BT headphone appear, connect.. Good !

Works great.
I chose not to upgrade my PC's components to accommodate an additional Bluetooth driver as my PC did not include one initially. Nonetheless, the installation process was straightforward and required no complex configuration. I simply followed the on-screen prompts and was able to connect any necessary devices seamlessly.
