Perfect for replacing dead or dying fan without having to throw away the whole laptop
My laptop kept shutting down when it started overheating after a few seconds, and the fan's noise was erratic. Instead of throwing the whole laptop away, I've decided to replace the fan, and that solved the problem, and the laptop has been working for months now without trouble.Important: Be sure the laptop model is exactly one of the listed. And be sure you are confident and experienced with taking apart a laptop down to the motherboard, because you can easily tear a ribbon cable, forget to reconnect some cables or screw some connections, pinch and short the power cables and burn the laptop, or damage sensitive electronics. But if you are careful and methodical and have screw drivers, anti-static strap, optional pincers, foil tape, a disassembly manual or access to youtube, and a common sense knowledge of handling DC wires, static electricity, and electronics, it is not an unsurmountable task to replace a fan.
