AGPTEK A02XT MP3 player
The media could not be loaded. This AGPTEK A02XT MP3 player is a great small device. It's not perfect, but for the price, it does all that I need.Rate it 4.5GoodValue for moneySize & weightFunctionalityBattery lifeNot so goodSpeakerMenuThe speaker is a pathetic thing, and not worth having. I don't need it, so no loss for me.The menu system is a bit quirky, but once you have gotten used to it, it does the job.The transfer of file from a PC to the device is slow. Something I do infrequently, so no major issue. The music sounds good to my old ears. The bluetooth works fine, and you have the option to disable it, which helps with the battery life.Useful simple on/off switch.See the video for the time to switch on (8 seconds).

Good value so far!
I have a media lead that accepts a USB straight to my car stereo. Not wanting to faff with Bluetooth and use my phone whilst driving I took a punt on this mp3 player. My last was a Sony Walkman from many year's ago. To replace would cost a good £200 odd. So far the build quality and ease of use is spot on. I never bother using software with these thing's. Simply drag and drop. Connects as soon as I start the car and can be controlled through my steering wheel. So far very impressed with the price and memory should I want to can be increased. Super small too so can stow away out of sight. Thumbs up👍

Still happy with brand since 2010.
I bought a red Aptek mp3 player in 2016 and another pink one in 2021. I updated in 2016 from a one I bought in 2010 which broke after dropping too many times. I use the red one when I'm in the garden or when doing DIY or painting walls. Over the years I have realised that playing tracks on my phone just drains the battery and my tablet is too big and expensive to cart around a room when sawing and painting etc so an mp3 player is perfect. The red Aptek is in its death throes and so I replaced with this new one in black (as I have the pink one I use for travelling long flights etc). This is a real step up because it's better at connecting via Bluetooth but also plays without headphones in which the past ones don't. Much better/clearer screen even though same sized as old ones. The middle button commands are better. Yes the menus are basic but easy not to go wrong. I use plug in Panasonic over the ears headphones as I wear glasses and can't use in ear pods so still using old ones in new mp3 player. I'm not looking for top of the range sounds as I'm a pleb listener not an audio geek. This mp3 player did not come with earphones as the old ones did. Considering the old one cost me £28 in 2016 I happy with today's price and certainly happy with longevity of product.

Rubbish!!!!!
The developers are idiots!!! The basic (101) album list play should be standard, instead the thoughtlessness of programming a mp3 with playing all numbers as a list in each individual albums looks like this is standard practice, it's a stupid way to hear music. People who have hundreds of albums & would like to listen to each albums as a whole piece will be frustrated as these mp3 players do not allow for this basic function to happen unless you get rid of the numbers in all your albums which takes too long!!! But, yes I did it, so that I could listen to my albums even though I cannot listen to the content in their proper listings!!!! Also the playlist is a joke to, you can't even have a playlist unless you put your music in a ft card, so the instructions say & they also limit you with the playlist!!!!!

Doesn't like connecting!
I bought this to use in my car but unfortunately it just doesn't want to connect. It keeps randomly switching into search mode which takes around 20 minutes and then doesn't connect to my car audio system. I never know whether I'm going to be listening to my music or waiting for it to search which is so annoying! The sound quality is good which is why it gets a 2 star review. It was working fine for the first few weeks but as often happens this annoying trait began to happen frequently after my return date so I'm stuck with it.

Everything you want in one small machine
I love this mp3 player, it is very simple to work with, unlike some others on the market. Capacity is 16gb, but can be extended with a micro sd card upto 128gb. It has many programmes, with folders, bookmarks and much more. Great value for its price & small enough to fit in a pocket. Has equaliser for adjustment of sounds. Easy to load music, pictures, videos, even has an ebook and voice recorder, Bluetooth section intact. I have found this to be the perfect buy for all my uses. There is no need to spend loads of money on a top of the range, when this mp3 does it all within the value for money bargain 👌:)
