Just what the westie wanted
This is just what my little dog wanted at 12 years of age she is a little slow and a little stiff so getting up a down takes a little time so having a adjustable food stationis just what the dr ordered she can have her food and water just where she likes it.

Very big!!!
We have always used raised food and warer bowl for our French Mastiff. These bowls are HUGE, probably even too big for our 10 1/2 stone boy. The food side is fine but larger than we really need, but the water bowl can't be filled more than about 1/2 full or it's too heavy and looks as if it's going to fall off the stand. Saying That, it was well pro ed and does the job. I just think the bowls are too big for the frame.

Great sturdy stand. Got for our German shepherd pup. Then can increase the height as she gets bigger. Well worth the money. Good buy

Fit for purpose but be gentle with it...
I found the vertical bar that supports the feeding bowls does sit still on the base. I tightened the support bolt as tight as possible without shearing it off. However when my boy was eating and drinking from the feeding station the vertical support swivels slightly. I have now cured this with the application of Super Glue to strengthen the vertical bar where it meets the horizontal base.

Easy to assemble
Good adjustment of height but not as sturdy as I really need.It moves too much whilst your dog eats.

DON'T BUY THIS EXTRA LARGE FEEDER!!
The feeder arrived in its own box without any exterior packaging, and the carton was not sealed. Lift one flap .... and the box is open! However, all parts appeared to be included. There are no assembly instructions, but it's not rocket science.The bowls are stated to hold 4.4lts or over 7 pints. NOT POSSIBLE unless you want a flood. The attached photos show the water bowl less than half full, with under 2lts of water. The bowl retaining rings are not substantial enough to take any weight - less than half full and they lean precariously, spilling the water. When taking the photos, the food bowl was empty. Joint dog bowls must surely allow for water being supplied 24/7 without the opposing weight of food in the other bowl. However, even when food WAS in the other bowl, the water bowl stayed at the poor angle. Rosewood need to appreciate that WATER IS HEAVY!There is also a clip where the bowl retaining ring attaches to the central pole, and the bowl is supposed to fit under this clip - presumably for stability? To tip the bowl under the clip to ensure it is in the correct position just spills the water in the other direction!On reflection, it is obvious that the lightweight retaining rings are totally inappropriate to hold up to 4.4lts of water, but the construction is not easy to establish in the product listing. I did read the reviews but there were more good than bad and were for smaller sizes.I would have not given any stars at all if it were possible. I would imagine that the smaller sizes may be adequate, but the extra-large size is TOTALLY USELESS.AMAZON - stop stocking the extra large in this product.
