This is a beautiful set. Lately I have been becoming more and more annoyed with everything being outsourced to China. I specifically searched for a set made in the USA. Turns out there really isn’t a large amount of options. I found this set and decided to try it. So far I am please with the durability and look of this set. The only gripe I can find is that they are pretty light weight for my preference. I expected a little more. Weight aside, I would recommend this set to someone looking.

Support American made products, these are really nice and so far have been a great replacement for my old flatware.

I was surprised that this flatware got such great reviews. We were replacing a set purchased 40 years ago and quality has definitely gone downhill since then. My old set is much sturdier and the pieces more substantial than the new one. The knives in the Liberty Tabletop set are really good, the forks and serving pieces are good but thinner than I would have liked. The spoons are terrible. The teaspoons are very small and the larger spoons are too short. My husband doesn't want to pass on our old set because he likes it better. On a positive note, the Providence pattern is very beautiful and it looks very nice on the table. Also I like that it is made in the USA. I just wish that things were made with the same quality as 40 years ago.

Much of the flatware that is available today contains no nickel and may rust. Nickel has become extremely expensive,. To get 18/10 stainless flatware at the price, made in America is a good deal.

After losing a few pieces of out flatware due to 20 years of daily use we thought it was time for a replacement. Little did my husband and I know how extensive this search would be. Sure, you can go with an affordable (aka cheap) set made in China. My wife and I used such a set which was given to us and those were only just so-so. These look amazing when we have guests over and are far more durable than the cheesy Chinese made set we had before. We chose the hammered look which is easy to clean and looks great even after much use. Quality made in the USA and is totally worth the extra money.

I was looking to purchase quality flatware not made in China. I purchased the "Providence" Liberty Tabletop SMI USA 45-piece (service for 8 people) flatware set. I am pleased with the product. I encourage others to support this American company. I paid $129.00 dollars. I am willing to pay more money for an American made product that provides jobs to Americans. I value quality, not quantity. In America, there needs to be a return to manufacturing. I plan to make future purchases.
