Good book

Great book, as described, great value.

I waited a long time to get this book, as it was on back order for nearly 2 months. Definitely worth the wait! As a Registered Aromatherapist I'm always looking for quality, informational books to add to my work library. This is one of those books that I believe is a must have. My only cricism is the section on history. I teach aromatherapy history, so when the authors discuss modern aromatherapy they refer to a woman named (in the book) Margerite Mallory, when in fact it is Marguerite Maury. This was an unfortunate mistake, as Mrs. Maury is the woman responsible for introducing the world to aromatherapeutic massage and the use of essential oils in today's cosmetic industries. Aside from this oversight, the book does a tremendous job of enlightening the reader on incorporating the teachings of ayurveda with aromatherapy. I have even adapted my current practices with my clients so I can incorporate some of the teachings from this book. It is a new tool in my personal arsenal of therapeutic approaches. Well done!
