Seems to work well
I’ve had issues with the outer layer of insulation on smaller charging devices separating from the plug etc leaving the very fine 24 or 26 gage wire/ insulation exposed and subject to damage. This product effectively reseals that junction. Long term durability is still in question but the initial appearance is very promising.

Great product
Boy if you have older equipment that keeps cracking the coating on wires and grounding out is this the product for you. This is like electrical tape but without the hassle of trying to find a way to squeeze electrical tape between things. Will continue to monitor this winter on the tractors how well it stays stuck but for now I have lights again and not as afraid of burning the place down.

Awesome stuff. Many uses.
I've had liquid tape before and I'm sure there are many uses for the product. Recently I was rebuilding hydraulic cylinders on my tractor. The cylinders have slots to access removal pins. I found rust inside around these pins. After repair and removal of rust, I wanted a method to deter rust at these slots. A profession hydraulic cylinder repairman told me about using liquid tape. I bought red so it would be obvious and applied several coats to fill the access slot. Worked great and now no water can enter the access slot. By the way, a little trick for storing many liquids like this liquid tape. After opening it might dry up quickly. Store it upside down. This minimizes exposer of the liquid inside to the air. I use this technique on many liquids in my shop.

It's good with few concerns.
This goes on well and is good after drying. Bottle is plastic for those concerned. Got some on the bottle and was able to wipe it clean with paper towel. It smells like you should read all the warnings on the bottle. Read the warnings. For example, It's flammable till it dries as far as I can tell. It also smells like you should only use it in well ventilated spaces. The brush is large and attached to the large cover. Makes the whole thing clumsy for smaller tasks. If this came with a smaller secondary brush and case that would be great. That external brush could even be the only brush since the one inside gets covered in liquid and you either have to find a way to get it off or let it go to waste.Edit: After more uses this thing is a mess. the brush can pick up so much on the stem it drips off while you're trying to brush it on.

Wow. Seals everything. Water tight wires, etc.
I bought this originally to try and extend some underwater lights... was nervous. Worked awesome. I use this everywhere... leaky furnace drain pipe? Use this. Leaky something. Use this!. Btw. Stinks for 1 hour while curing. But awesome. Told santa put in my stocking

Works well
I'd heard of this in a few places and decided to try it with my latest project. I purchased both the Black and the Red for 12V applications. It is fairly odorous so use in a ventilated area.I applied liquid relatively thickly so that it was opaque and it takes a little while to dry. It dried to a fairly flexible coating to stranded copper wire, adheres to silicone, cable nicks, other wire insulation and solder joints well. So far the compound has remained in place and has not torn or begun to peel in a couple weeks. I cannot attest to being a water proof coating, how it would stand up in abrasive locations or longevity so use with common sense.

Ideal waterproofing coating for electrical cables
This product was used to seal a repair to an underground electrical to a telephone cable. It was easy to apply (3 coats, 1 day apart) and, so far, no problems after 2 months. Being bright red it was easy to see what parts had been treated.

Great product. Does what its supposed to do
Solid product. 2-3 coats should do it for most small repairs. 3-4 for large areas of stripping. Smells very strong while it's still setting, so use in a ventilated area. I have so much leftover after repairing everything, so you will not run out.The brush is a little larger than ideal, so I had to wipe excess onto the inside of the bottle every time I use.
