Please note this review is only my opinion and should not replace seeking the advice of a qualified medical practitioner when looking for assistance with foot pain.These supports are a very simple device but give a great deal of support for the foot arch. They are easy to pop on and are conveniently marked with indications of which way to face them, although this is very intuitive based on the shape of the sole of the foot. They consist of a hard, moulded plate attached to 2 straps that attach over the foot upper and are held in place by Velcro fastenings. When put on they fit snugly, aren't at all tight and are not constrictive in any way. The supports can be worn directly against the skin, or over a sock and also when wearing shoes.I like that there are two fastening straps with these as it allows an increased degree of fit customization over one strap supports. Either type can be fixed as tightly as required but these have an extra degree of customization for the foot. The hard plate at the bottom is a little higher than others I've tried and give a fractionally increased height of support than other types. It will depend on how much support you need/require but if you are looking for a good height of support these may be for you. The support they provide is evident when resting, standing or walking.I have found that it alleviates the pain in my arch pretty much straight away and has resulted in a marked lessening of the pain flaring up when I am not wearing them. They are reasonably small in size which means I can pop them in a pocket when I'm out and about and are easy to put on when I feel that my arch pain might be imminent. I now wouldn't be without these.Thoroughly recommended.

This is a difficult item to review as everyone's needs differ - however, I will try.The device is made from a semi-rigid support, comfortably padded, and two soft straps with velcro fasteners.The Foot Arch Support appears to be reasonably well-made. I found them comfortable, and the concept is a good one.Sadly, they did not work for me. The arch support was too shallow and tended to flatten as weight was put on it.I tried using them over my existing inner shoe supports and they did have a cushioning effect - but that is the only use that I found for them.

These arch supports work better than any others that I have tried before. Unlike most, they have a plastic insert which flexes and supports the arch which is held in place by two velcro straps. I must admit that I was dubious at first whether it would be effective, but I am surprised to say that it is. They are quite comfortable and I forget that I am wearing them. Unlike the pictures though, I wear them over my socks as it's a much more padded feel and there's less chance of them rubbing at all.
