Safe is actually really well built, the ease of access and the amount of options is outstanding. Simple install. Easy set up.The keypad area is not flush, although the dial can be push in to be flush with the pad area. It sticks out about a half inch from the door surface.Inside could have a few more organization options but good for what it is and function.

It would only fit my shotgun, and two 22 cal rifles… barely. I couldn’t get “anything” else in the safe. So I decided to not put the rifles in and just use it for my pistols, ammo, and personal info.

It arrived way faster than I was expecting and once I opened the packaging and removed it, quite heavy, I immediately noticed how well this thing is built and the attention to detail is on point. I'm very happy with this one. The one thing that would have been nice is detailed installation. I've never done between the studs installations of anything and it's a bit scary but I'm going for it. It is a heavy unit so I plan on installing either a 2x4 cross-member at the bottom to act as a shelve to sit this thing on, or two vertically installed cut to the height of the hole. That way there's something to support the unit. If you try to cut an opening and just sit in on the drywall to bolt it in on the sides, I'm betting the drywall will break. It's just too heavy.I cannot comment on what it looks like installed yet but it's such an attractively done unit, I'm 100% comfortable with what this will look like installed. I also can't speak about the storage capacity but for me I have 1 carbine rifle, a couple of handguns, and lots of ammo, which this seems more than capable of holding. My home defense handgun is in a nightstand gun vault so this one is just secure storage for me.I definitely can recommend this unit. Smooth lock and well done access controls with battery backup.

Safe went in as expected. We used sturdier lag screws to attach it to the studs as the included hardware didn't feel adequate to do the job.The shelving is poorly designed. (1) getting the shelf rests in place is a pain especially if the studs are as expected right tup next to the safe wall. We had to punch out the wood so the shelf brackets would even install. (2) Once we go that done, we thought we were good to go, but the shelves themselves don't fit on the brackets very well. Ours just kind of lay on top and move around. Not very sturdy.We are working on a solution to this because overall the safe will work, but it would be nice to not have to re-engineer parts of a purchased product.

Looks good and works well. My son loved it.

10/30/2024 update - We purchased the "Omethey 53.15" Wall Safe Between the Studs, Biometric Fingerprint Hidden Safe with Dual Alarm System and Silent Mode, Wall Gun Safe with 3 Adjustable Shelves and Magnetic Slot (Black-Fingerpirnt)" - their typo, not ours.It is NOT fireproof. The safe was WELL packaged and arrived EARLY! The lag bolts are crappy so we used our own bolts with their washers. The install was pretty easy.The interior LIGHT is WEAK.Due to the LOCK being large and an odd placement, we marked the interior with blue tape so we don't accidentally place a rifle behind the lock (it won't close or could get jammed - BAD design). The lock should be positioned higher up in order to avoid a potential rifle issue.The "Magnetic Gun Slot" holder doesn't stick to the magnetic strip so we emailed the seller for a REPLACEMENT. 10/30/24 UPDATE - we are happy with the $20.00 credit the seller gave us to purchase adhesive glue to adhere the magnetic strip to the Gun Slot holder.We really like the safe and hope it works out well.

You’re supposed to be able to unlock by your finger print, it works sometimes. I have to keep resetting with my finger print. It stills works by number code. Just keep the keys around.Before installing it stand it up like you would install it and try the fingerprint sensor for a few days, that’s the only reason I haven’t returned it because I have it very secured into the studs

I got the safe installed no problem. Decent quality that you would expect for a $200 safe. HOWEVER, the shelves don’t work. Check out the instructions….no details. Kind of scary. Keep the emergency keys close. The keypad is definitely going to failBack to the shelves, I went through all of this, set it up and then realized the shelves don’t work. There’s another review about the shelves, not working either. I regret buying this unit. I would look to other safes next time
