Purest Electrolyte Chocolate Cordyceps Powder Packets – Whole Food Hydration - Fermented Cacao and Solar Sea Salts for Ultimate Electrolyte Balance

I have been buying and trying several different kinds of electrolytes and amino acid + BCAA drinks in order to help my body recover properly from daily exercise and normal activities. As I age, I am noticing how important this is to my every day well-being. Purest Electrolyte is the best tasting electrolyte I have tried and it has the most natural ingredients. I ordered the sampler and kept track by writing on the package a score for the taste. I rated them 1-5, 5 being best. The first one I had I gave a 3 (I was leaving room for 4's thinking there might be a 4 next but not a 5). I could probably rated that one a 4 based on my preference of tastes because I rated every flavor after the first a 5! The taste is great and they really help me feel much better. I plan to throw out the Dr. Berg's I ordered which has stevia :( Oh I want to add that I learned to cut off a triangle at the corner of the packet - the ingredients are so natural that they are not held down by additives; so because of the lightness /fluffiness, it can "float" out of the packet if you open it up too much. That was how I managed to get it all in the glass. You could, I guess, turn the packet up over the glass before you open it! I just thought of that! I'll try it when I get my next order.

I like the flavor and the level of sodium (I need lots of it), but the jamaica bits get stuck in my teeth and they're gritty and kind of a pain to clean out of my bottle.

These packets work great when you don’t want the sugars. Need electrolytes? Buy them!

I had the pleasure of meeting this company in person at a Marathon event in Big Bear CA, and so happy I did because it put them on my radar! The owner was so nice and authentic about creating a clean electrolyte product. I am a huuuge fan of the Chocolate Cordyceps flavor, this is the 3rd box I have ordered on amazon since trying the sample in person!The taste is seriously better than most hot cocoa mixes (which are usually filled with sugar) and I love that they use monkfruit and stevia to sweeten. I mix this up when I am feeling a little hungry before working out, but don't want to eat solid food, or if I'm just in a mood for a delicious boost with electrolytes! If you like chocolate and don't detest Stevia, I 100% recommend you try this!

I am shocked to see that this PUREST electrolyte mix is made from 98% preserved nutrients from freeze dried fruit! Actual food and not a list of chemicals no one can pronounce and no added sugar, thank you! This comes in packets so you can easily take one with you for hydration at any time of the day, anywhere. It mixes easily in water and has a mild taste that I was not crazy about the first time I drank it but I tried it again and it was better. I am used to the artificial sweetened flavors and this has a more natural taste. I don't always drink enough so I thought this would help. I am interested in trying some of the other flavors but in my opinion it is priced a little high at around $35 for 14 packets.

The Know Brainer Purest Electrolyte Passion Cherry Powder is... well, it's okay. The hydration boost is solid, and it dissolves pretty easily, but the flavor is kinda weird. It’s like cherry and something mysterious had a disagreement. Not awful, just odd. If you're not picky about taste, it does the job, but for me, it’s hard to love.

The chocolate is delicious!I made chocolate ice cream and it tastes like a frosty. I used some in brown butter bites, and it's like eating a chocolate bar. It is yummy in coffee, too.

We have had other flavors of this brand and we love hibiscus tea so I was excited to try this, but this flavor is awful. It tastes like it's full of chemicals or plastic. We can't return it so we're out the $30 unfortunately, but maybe I can save someone else. Don't buy this flavor.
