Watery consistency.
I really like this company and use some of their other products. I was interested in this to use occasionally. I use their Moringa tooth paste for everyday brushing and I love it. Previous reviews indicated it would be messy and it is but is has a very watery consistency that makes it difficult to use. I will try adding some bentonite clay to make a thicker, more usable consistency.

Works
Bought this on a recommendation. It works, teeth look white and clean ingredients. Just be prepared for a little bit of a mess with the charcoal.

It works, but bad flavor and messy
My mouth feels clean and my teeth look whiter, but I’m not a fan of the flavor or consistency. Plus it makes a huge mess I’ll try a different flavor next time. I like that it comes in a glass container.

Love at first brush
I love this toothpaste! It feels my teeth feeling clean and without a filmy feeling. We are currently using spearmint but have used the charcoal before. Definitely wouldn’t treat this toothpaste for anything plus the empties make adorable containers!🤍

Great but not for every day
As part of my zero waste journey, I bought this.Yes, it’s messy. Yes, it’s runny. I don’t like dipping my brush into the pot because it breeds bacteria, so I keep a teaspoon with my brush I dip into the pot and the use the teaspoon to load my brush and wash both after. It tastes like baking soda and peppermint to me.It was very runny. I left it out with the lid off and it got less runny and less messy in 48 hours. My only concern? My dentist took a look at it and said it wasn’t safe for twice daily use. Too abrasive. He thought it would be fine occasionally.

Has ingredient that leads to calcium tartar buildup on teeth
Lesson learned after using Nelson Naturals toothpaste for quite some time, calcium carbonate leads to tenacious calculus/calcium tartar buildup on teeth. Our dentist and periodontist both found an increasing amount of tenacious calculus buildup on our teeth, something we didn't have prior to switching to Nelson Naturals. They asked if we were using any oral products or supplements containing some form of calcium and said re-mineralizing toothpastes especially can contribute to calcium tartar. This toothpaste is the only change we made since the tartar issue started up and calcium carbonate is one of the main ingredients.

Loving it
I am trying to go zero waste and this tooth paste has really helped me realize tgat its completely doable without compromise. Taste good, teeth feel clean and I'm helping the environment. Bonus store in my town refills these containers with same product so I can keep reusing the container.

Bon produit…
