Very happy with these adaptor cables. Exactly what I needed. The cables and connection ends feel very solid. A bit difficult to get in and out of my MacBook Air, but I don't suspect I'll need to use them very often. They should last a long time. I bought them to facilitate transferring 105GBs of music from an old LaCie external backup disk where I store my music to a 128 GB thumb drive, so I can play my music on other devices OTG. Had to use the MBA as the go-between for the transfer, which was why I needed the adaptor cables. They worked great. No need to buy a dongle now. The 128GB thumb drive has both USB (female) and USB-c (male) ends, so I really only needed one adapter cable, but having two of them is good, as a backup.

I used these to connect a small digital USB microscope (also sold on Amazon) to my notebook computer at work. These adapters allowed me to connect the USB microscope to the USB-C port and the called up the CAMERA function in Windows, and it displayed the microscope without issue. Very helpful and recommended if you need this adapter.

What can I say. It works with a 2016 Macbook Pro.I bought an angled cable b/c it has LESS extension outwards that could damage the USB-C if port my knee were to hit it coming off of the sofa. These angled units are nice and tidy and more out of the way.Then only thing I wish they came with was a plastic dust cover for the USB-C side (as other units come with).Regardless of this, I'd buy again!

Good product for the price, especially since you get two. I like the right angle for keeping cords out of the way.Tested vs Anker's straight USB-C to USB 3.1 (really 3.0, as still 5gbps), with Blackmagic Disk Test.Speeds were the same with my SSD in a 3.1 USB-c Gen 2 (10gbps) enclosure.

I purchased a galaxy book. While that was all nice, I had so many standard USB A male devices, from USB drives to external HDDs to printers. What I needed was a converter for the USB C into USB A Female and this does that perfectly. Supports USB 3.0 data transfers and no complaints at all.

I use my 15" MacBook Pro in a very tight space. I could not be more pleased with the way these adapters allow me the flexibility to use my peripherals and have to compromise nothing.
